Opened the box, plugged it in and my Windows 10 system set it all up and I was able to start ripping CDs and DVDs. Simple to use. I will not use this item very often but it was inexpensive and works. I am satisfied.

Plays cds well without a lot of noise. Haven't tried to write cd yet. Includes both type connecter cords, Seems very light weight & fragile, but it does the job well.

The CD player in my computer stopped working when a newer version of Win10 was installed. Techs said the newer version wasn't compatible with it. The Asus works with it.

Even with some more damaged ones. Worked on MacBook with no extra downloads.

Ya never know when you're gonna need one

Discovered I needed an external drive when building new PC. New case doesn't have bays. :-( Anyway, nice device, works quietly and is rather speedy for reading but I haven't tried writing anything.
