I paired this up with the ASUS - RT-BE92U BE9700 router to replace my TP-Link system. I dumped TP-Link after seeing that the US may ban the product due to Chinese security risks. Setup was very easy using the Asus App. The only issue was the week signal 2.5GHz signal. Checking the settings, on Auto, it was only sending 2.5 GHz. After manually setting it to 5GHz, the signal was maxed out strong. Overall, pretty happy with these.

Easy setup and nice advanced features, however it has substandard coverage and packet loss when moving from one node to the next even with “Great” node connections. Tried muliple locations, binding nodes, factory resets, multiple modes, etc. If you have a large area to cover, get a powerful access point and place it high up in the center of the space. Add an extender if need be - mesh just doesnt work well if you can’t have any disruptions to your internet connection. Love ASUS, just not this one.

Although it was supposed to be a plug and play system, It never connected to the network and could not be configured. I follow the manual instructions and search resources on internet from the manufacturer but it was not possible to make it work. I have to return it to the store.

This system came with great reviews, however, unfortunately, we had to return it as it did not work with our current system at our home.

The mesh wi-fi system works great. It allows us to have a much more stable connection throughout our home. Was worth every dollar spent.

The setup is pretty straight forward but the speed is fast but when it lose connection. It is very difficult to reconnect. Make a ip Austin you lose connection and the whole system just crash. I updated router to the new firmware and crash my whole system. I had to reboot the system to default system to get it working again. The Last time I buy a Ausu router.

Typically, the coverage of this ZenWIFI is up to 6800 sq. ft. To resolve a weak WIFI signal, place it in a central location within your home, away from walls and obstructions, keep it elevated off the floor and away from electronic devices that may cause interference. Additionally, check if the ZenWiFi's security settings matches with your ISP's modem security credentials and your internet connect is working and stable. I can not give this an honest review only because it woyld not link up to my apectrum modem. I tried 2 households and neither would work with the same type of modem. It worked flawlessly inline with the existing router and had amazing coverage but the whole point was to get rid of that old router. I gave it 5 stars because it really was great and i believe it is a spectrum issue. If you have spectrum be careful.

Excellent wifi with great features. The set up was a bit glitchy, but customer support helped me fix the problem. Since the purchase in April of 2025, three months, this has been rock solid with great wifi speeds.

If you live in a cement house, this is not for you. Living in a cement house is uncommon in the states, but it is the norm in the US colony of Puerto Rico. This device performs fairly well unless you are behind a concrete wall. Do all the routers perform bad behind cement/concrete walls? Not really. I had a WiFi 6 Linksys Velop router that performed much better and I stupidly replaced it with this "newer tech" WiFi 7 router.

Terrible mistake buying these , took 3 hrs to get these things going and after that they had constant connection issues , replaced with another brand that had running in 5 minutes and it maintains great connection

Setup was fast and simple, and it just plain works! I live in a 4,000 sqft house, split across multiple levels. Getting WiFi to work in here is not easy, but the ASUS ZenWiFi mesh system has everyone up and running at very acceptable speeds. Great product, I would highly recommend.

after walking thru the set up 4 times and with customer support doing 2 of those with me, they determined that I need to return the item, only now I am past the return date. Oh funny story these state that I have no connection to the internet but when I use the old ones left over from the previous home owner, I was able to connect right away. Weird.
We certainly understand your disappointment and the inconvenience this may have caused if you were unable to connect to the internet with this Mesh routers. ASUS is an ISO certified company, as a result, all products go into a strict quality manufacturing standard. All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections that ensure each one is trouble-free, this is a random problem. If you're unable to connect to the internet, check if these routers are place in the center of the area you want to cover, avoid placing the router near metal objects, electronic devices or direct sunlight, position the router on a flat, hard surface and halfway between the floor and ceiling. Additionally, dense building materials, such as gypsum, concrete walls and planks can affect Wi-Fi signal penetration. Also, we
recommend updating the Mesh router firmware if it is running with an older version. Firmware is available for download at: https://www.asus.com/us/supportonly/zenwifi%20be5000/helpdesk_bios/. Additionally, check if the PC or device connecting to the routers is working properly and within range to the routers, the routers are within 30 feet to the ISP's modem, if not wired with a network cable, and ISP's internet service or connection is working properly or stable. Furthermore, legacy devices may not work properly with WIFI-7, please check updates for these devices. Also, try connecting this manually to either 2.4GHz or 5GHz. If these steps were performed to no avail, we recommend you send the product in for service to determine if this is a hardware issue so this may be resolved immediately. The BE5000 tripack has horrible connectivity amd range. My older AX units work so much better. I litterly pulled the plug in the BE5000 units. Using them is like the olf TP Link @rap. I will try the BE30000 to see if there is improvement amd write a review. DO NOT GET THESE!
