decent multi line phone for home or small business

i would recommend this phone for either a multi line home or small business that does not receive an abundance of calls, but wants a second line. I purchased 3 of these for my restaurant and they work as stated, however they do not communicate with each other or show when a line is occupied on a different phone. makes take out orders kind of a pain. but like i said, it does what claimed to do.

Good 2 line Phone - not great

I replaced a panasonic 2 line phone(cordless, 6 handsets) that was over 8 years old. This phone was easy to set up. The owners manual explained almost any problem you would come across. There are numerous ringtones. The Bluetooth set up with the IPhone 4S was a snap. I have 11 handsets on this system and had no problems setting them up. The bad now. Getting to the caller ID list took 3 screens to bring up. Setting up ringtones had to be done on all the handsets for the different lines (line 1, line 2, Cell 1, Cell 2). Should have been able to do them at the base and been sent to the cordless handsets. Handsets are not as comfortable in the hand as Panasonics. After you get done programming the handsets the experince with them is pleasent.

This phone will sync with Bluetooth enabled cell phones. What this means is that you can leave your cell phone close to the base and you can then place & receive cell phone calls from the cordless handset(s). I was carrying both my cordless and cell phones around the office. This streamlines both into one easy to use device. I conduct a lot of business from my cell phone. This phone feels good in your hand when on an extended conversation. You can access your cell phone directory from the handset as well. The range is excellent. The sound quality is good, but I wish the volume would go slightly higher as my office is a loud environment sometimes. Also for those thinking of dropping your land line at home and only using your cell phone, this (or any other blue tooth enabled) cordless phone allows multiple handsets in multiple rooms. If you do not have 2 incoming land lines, go with the less expensive single line version. All around a great phone!

I got this phone on sale for under $100 and it is worth every penny. The sound is great, very clear. The battery life is excellent. I was on the speaker phone today and the other party didn't even know. What I really like is that there are lighted buttons for each line when you have a message. A lot of 2 line phones have the notification in the display window. I would definitely recommend this phone. I haven't tried the bluetooth.

Finally! A techy phone for non-techy-types!

First of all, I must proclaim, that I am a NON-TECHY, and I nearly break out into a sweat every time I need to buy a tech appliance. I hate shopping for them b/c I get confused quickly with all of the features, I have trouble setting them up and/or "not working" - UGH! I learned about the Bluetooth technology from one of the reviews here. I liked the idea that my cell phone could go directly to the charger when I got home, and from then on I could use my landline physical phone to pick up my cell calls. That way I could get better clarity and reception than my physical cell phone offers, while using my cell plan, so I could drop my landline long distance service. After one system flat out failing, and then another brand too-hard-to-set-up, I came across this new-to-the-market phone, and it works AWESOME. Even I, a techo-moron could set this up out of the box on the first attempt. THAT is *amazing*! (Ask any of my friends!) I will enthusiastically recommend this phone to any/everyone!

I originally needed a 2-line phone, 1 line for my business and 1 line for my home. This item fit the bill. I know you're saying "oh lord, it's got a wired handset instead of a cordless on the base!" However this is an awesome feature. Not only does the base have the corded handset capability, but it also has speaker phone as well as Bluetooth link to wireless headsets. I use this a lot with a Jabra and it plays very nicely. Other times I plug in my wired headset into the cordless phone and walk around that way. There is tone adjustments on the cordless, two answering machines, large LCD display, speakerphone on the cordless, Bluetooth phone book sync and more I highly recommend this if you truly need a good business or business/personal phone.

Just the right size with large buttons. It was easy to set up and program directory. The corded base worked perfectly during the latest hurricane (Irene) when my power was out for 7 hours and couldn't use the cordless!

the phone itself is very good and the sound quality is great! The only issues I have are some of the limitations when using the headset with regard to mute and having to have the handset off to utilize the number pad when prompted for pressing numbers.

    User's manual is a disgrace

I am rarely motivated to write a review, but want prospective purchasers to know that the difficulty or frustration of trying to set up this phone is over the top and, as far as I can tell, the effort is not rewarded properly. I also advise that I am educated to the doctorate level, so it is not a matter of my literacy. For instance, the base enables you to set up ten "speed dial" numbers. Then, naturally, you want to be able to speed-dial one of those number from a handset, But how? So you check the manual and begin by consulting the index for "speed dial" information. However, there is no "speed dial" entry in the index. Nothing. The desktop unit has a nice feel and big buttons, but all I can get from the display window is that i have 1 missed call on one of the lines. Using the menu, all I can determine is that there is no message associated with the missed call. So, how to clear the display or generate something useful on the display, like the date and time you have set?? Of course, consult the index of the user's manual (157 pages !!). Alas, no entry in the index for "display." I presume the phone itself has quality, but I cannot get past my inability to navigate my way to answers on its efficient or effective use.

We replaced a Nortel phone system after we decided to go with the phone company's voice mail. This is a great phone because we can see our business calls and home calls every where in the house. The bluetooth link was very easy to use and makes it much easier when cell phone calls come in at home. The directory download from your cell phone is a nice enhancement. Overall, the phone has the features we can use. As long as it stands up to daily use, we will be very happy.

The phone was the easiest one I have ever had to setup. Clear instructionsand prompts. This phone is being used in a Church with older members(not tech savvy),was easy to explain to everyone. I agree with some that the remote handset seems a little flimsy and shaky in the base.

    Terrible experience

This phone lasted all of 29 days. It worked fine until day 29 when it started to emit static. Spent an hour on the (cell) phone with AT&T where they asked me to rub my hands together and then answer the phone to see if the static was caused by static electricity. I told them it worked fine when the base was unplugged but they insisted I find another phone to make sure the phone line wasn't at fault. After finding an analog phone they told me the base was bad and I had to go to BestBuy to return it. Worthless phone and bad customer service

This is a two-line set with all the features I was looking for including the two separate voice mail boxes. From my perspective this base and wireless package is a good value for the money.
