This phone is as basic as it gets, and it does lack a few features that would seem essential (Bluetooth and volume control.) HOWEVER, there are also some unexpected benefits.
Pro:
As inexpensive as they come.
Surprisingly durable
Decent battery life and talk time
Good call quality but no volume control.
Easily replaceable if lost or broken - Good first cell phone for a child.
Added trick:
Can be unlocked (GSM unlock) cheaply and easily. VERY useful when traveling or looking to replace a broken phone.
Cons:
Feels like cheap plastic - because it is.
No Bluetooth
No volume control
Bare bones basics and nothing else.
Bottom line, I still keep this around as a spare and it can get the job done in a pinch.

good phone is gone! missing!
needed instant phone for att go account so I could make emergency calls and texts! (because my phone is my life!)
got this one for five bucks! YAY!
can't go wrong if you need a fast good phone for making calls and texting.
PROS:
you can talk to people and they can talk to you.
it texts.
hugely unnaturally long battery life (because it only does two things: talks and texts).
teeny tiny little body fits nicely in a pocket (a nice thing of the past, probably because this phone was originally manufactured at least 10 years ago) (It doesn't get hot so I think it probably won't blow up in your pocket. probably is the keyword.)
CONS:
what others said about it is true: it's old. very old.
supposedly it cruises the web. I'll be damned if I can look at anything on that teeny tiny screen and make out what web I'm cruising. could be mars for all I know. the font it uses is like from 1956.
speaker phone more like whisper phone.
thats it in a nutshell.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Pretty good for 10 bucks

For 10 bucks, it's a pretty good phone. I bought this because my current carrier is not very good (very weak signal) at where I live at and I learned AT&T has better signal. Therefore I decided to buy a cheap phone like this and bought a little bit of air time to try out AT&T. Everything works and the voice calls are great.
No volume control though ... I could not find it. Oh well, it's a 10 dollar phone.

I purchased this phone to use after my LG Vu died after just under 2 years. After using this phone for around two months, it was great to hold me over until I was eligible for an upgrade!

Great Basic Phone

This phone was bought for my 8 yr old daughter. I know it's crazy to let an 8 yr old have their own phone, but it's my decision. The phone is very basic. I was able to have data opt out, that way my daughter isn't allowed onto the internet. It has loud ringtones and the listening quality is incredible. It took a little of getting used to for the texting because I personally haven't owned a flip phone in forever. It has a great battery life and very durable.

Cheap basic phone, and many restrictions

I already have a cell phone, but can't resist to buy it at a very lowest special price from Best Buy.
Eventually activate the services, and found some tricky and nasty things from AT&T.
First, no need to say, that phone is from AT&T, it can only use for AT&T sim card.
Second, when I activated the account, it asked you to enter a IMEI no of the cell phone, the purpose is to lock your sim card to use only on that phone, if you take the sim card out and try to put it on another phone, it will say Simcard failure, even though I have a cell phone which is unlocked, can be used on either AT&T, T-mobile or any other carriers.
I learnt that AT&T restricted the go phone user to change to other cell phone for 180 days.
Therefore, I won't recommend it to people even it's very cheap.

Great, basic phone

I chose this phone to use for a three week period that I would be in the U.S. This phone is a great, basic phone for your every day needs. For being only $10, I didn't expect it to do much. It completes basic tasks, such as calling and texting. The only negative aspect that I found in this phone was the low volume when the speaker phone was turned on. Other than that, no complaints.

Basic phone so don't expect anything fancy. AT&T has good reception around here so no complaints. I bought this for my Mom who needed a temporary phone which she was visiting, mainly for receiving calls and on occasion call or text. The phone is friendly enough for her to use and I get not complaints from her.
This is a simple phone so battery life is excellent.

Got this phone for $3 from Best Buy! It's a VERY basic phone but does what it needs to do. Some complaints..no volume control on the side of the phone. In order to silence when someone is calling, you have to open the phone and push a button. Also, you have to open the phone to see who is calling you because there is no screen on the front. Other than that, battery so far is excellent. Voice quality is good too. If you need a cheap, replacement phone, go with this.

This is a great basic pay-as-you-go phone

If you're looking for a basic phone to get someone, or yourself, through a short visit without having to worry about contracts and you don't need a smart phone, then this is a viable option. Battery life is above average. The price of texting is rather expensive (.10/text), so call rather than text.

It's a nice little phone for the money. You activate it yourself. I signed up for 10 cents a minute, as I'm an infrequent caller. I don't do text messages and it doesn't appear that would be very easy but, for just phone calls Its great. There are also some useful tools like a claculator, calander, and world clock. Battery seems to last forever. I charge it once a week!

I called AT & T wireless to check on cost of replacing a phone for my Mom, when hers broke, explaining she barely used it anyway but we wanted her to have it for emergencies (loss of power, when traveling, etc.) The customer service rep. suggested getting a go phone and it could be switched to a permanent phone for her. Small and easy to use and had features she used like alarm and calendar. For $10.00 - a great deal!!

It's good for basic use. The only problem annoying me sometimes is, the main center button connects to some website stuff. So unintentional data downloading happens very easily.

It is a basic cell phone, with basic features. If you need a temporary cell phone number to talk with your friends and family, it is perfect. No apps, no fast internet access, but a simple gadget.

Bought this as a short term replacement for a damaged Samsung slider phone. Didn't want to reup with existing carrier to get a new phone so bought this one instead. Phone numbers on SIM card ported over OK except multiple numbers under one name had to be re-entered. Sattery life is really good and signal quality is also very good. I may just end up keeping this phone.

Samsung A107 is a very good basic phone. It does not have fancy options, No camera. Voice clarity is excellent. Very small, you do not feel like you have it in your pocket. Battery life is also good. I got it for $2.99 +$ 5.00 shipping.

This is an inexpensive replacementfor my broken cell phone. I do not want to renew my contract with 3 months left so I can get a free or reduced priced phone.
