This phone has lots of the basic features that the beginner phone user would ever need. I was surprised it has Bluetooth capabilities as well. Very easy to use & navigate. It seems all the Samsung & LG flip phones operate basically the same when it comes to menu navigation, etc.. Ringer is pretty loud. Texting isn't as simple as I had hoped, but it does have T9 if you enjoy old school method texting. I just wish the ringtones that I create or assign from my personal media could be a little bigger in file size. Almost all songs or actual music can't be imported to my ringtones because it exceeds maximum file size. This phone does not take a memory / SD card.

I've owned several flip phones. This one is by far the best for several reasons: long battery life, ease of use, clear sound, small and light. I like it so much I bought a second one as a back-up in case I lose or break my regular one. If your main uses are these, it's a great purchase: send and receive phone calls; send and receive text messages; alarm clock to wake you at different times on different days, easily muted; calculator. Etc. Not for those who want a "smart phone....."

My first convo on the phone went well. The other party let me know that the reception was good, and I didn't even ask for the opinion. It's a simple phone that has an adequate camera and speakerphone. Battery life is good and it is small enough. I just wish it weighed even less but that's ok.

I, myself, am an iPhone user, but my parents still just wanted simple flip phones after their 10 year old Motorola RAZR V3s (although still functioning) needed to be retired. The Z221 was a great replacement for them and they were happy that they really didn't have to learn anything new regarding functionality. A mobile phone, alarm clock, and backup camera is all they need and this one fits the bill. Sound quality is great both in the ear speaker and the outside speaker. Battery life is great. Only needs to be charged every few days with normal usage. For a few bucks, I was able to have them unlocked for use on their prepaid service that uses the T-Mobile network. My parents have had their problem- free Z221s since last December and have been quite happy. If you just want a simple phone to run on AT&T or just a temporary phone while your smartphone is in for repair, the Z221 is an excellent choice.

I needed an inexpensive phone for my mother and she did not want to send texts or access the web and this GoPhone was perfect. The buttons are big enough for her to read and the phone actually does have the capability to send/receive texts, take pictures, and even access the web. The phone was $8 including tax and I got the 25 cent a minute plan and can purchase more air time online (don't have to make a special trip to the store).

I love this new go-phone. It is full of extras like an alarm, voice recorder, address/phone number book, speaker phone and more. The sound quality is also great, it sounds better than some peoples smartphones and the price was really reasonable for all that you get in this phone. I am quite satisfied with this purchase. I especially love the battery life.

I'm a senior who had an ATT flip phone that died. I got it when Radio Shack sent me there because yours cost only $7.99! Going back for the same thing, I was dismayed to find it now cost $14.99. Oh well, that's inflation for you. However, when I got it home I discovered it not only made phone calls, but took pictures--still & movies--and had a dozen other functions. Absolutely incredible bargain for a beginner. I guess I'll pass on the Apple watch.

I've been an AT&T Go Phone user for many years. This is only my third Go Phone. I like it; all I need is a small phone to make occasional calls. My Samsung phone accidently went through the wash, so I bought this as a replacement. I simply took the SIM card out of the Samsung phone, inserted it into the new phone, and it worked right away. The calls are clear, and the phone is easy to use. The menus are easy to use too. It has a camera, but since I only have the talk and text plan, I can't send photos. I'm not sure whether photos can be downloaded to the computer using a cable; that's not described in the manual. It's a good phone for the money, though.

I have resisted getting tied to a Smart Phone for multiple reasons... My old LG Dumb Phone would not hook up for the most to my new cars blue tooth.. This Z222 did wonderfully and everything functions as it should... I like the compact size also and also has better reception than my old LG..

This phone is very easy to use. Battery last long. It will take some time around 6 hours to charge battery. Once the battery is fully charged, you don't need to charge it unless it emptied out. It always depend on use. For non-use phones battery last for 12 hours, if you make a few calls; sometimes it stays for two days. I like to use this phone. I will recommend you to get this phone, if you don't need any internet. In other words, if you want to use phones with out any data plan. It's easy to use.

My mother was having a very difficult time with the android phones. We needed a basic phone that has to have a camera, which she NEVER uses, but her phone HAS to have one. This phone is simple to use, lightweight, and functional. This is NOT a fancy phone. Slow and methodical texting...great for an 80 year old woman who is technically impaired.

We were looking for an inexpensive phone, to skip the contract part of cell phones. This turned out to be a great choice. If you want all the bells and whistles that more advanced phone give you-then this is not for you. It's a basic phone, easy to use, and just as rugged as other phones costing a lot more. Can't go wrong for the price.
