works fine if it's going to be laying down, but does not work when hung on a wall. The receiver will not stay on the cradle.

I bought this a a spare land line. After having it for 2 months it started to make cracklng noises when answered. Ending up tossing it and purchasing a much better phone.

The phone screen does not show the calling party’s # clearly. It is very hard to read. Also there are no way to enter a name in the directory.

My old kitchen wall phone expired. I was attempting to find a replacement for it. I found a black phone. It was supposed to hang on the wall, it refused to do so. The keypad does NOT light up. I have vision problems. To use a phone, I am forced to go into a different room and use a phone there, as the phone I bought for the kitchen is useless. It rings to notify an incoming call, one can answer it, but other than that, the thing is useless.

When plugged in to phone jack the phone simply squealed loudly in my ear. Even had telephone repairman check it out thinking the problem might be with my phone lines, but no, phone was junk. Had to return it. Would have given it a zero rating if that had been an option.

I did not want anything fancy - just a phone. don't like that it needs batteries for the caller id.

I would up returning his phone because the numbers in the pad did not light up. Everything else on the phone was fine.

I wanted a basic phone in case cordless was not charged. This is very basic but ok for my use.

The phone is cheap- cheap in price and quality. I purchased the phone to have one landline device in our home incase of emergencies. I was hoping the front display would show the call ID so we could avoid the numerous solicitors that call our home, but the display only worked for a day. Do not waste even a few dollars on this device.

Easily falls over. He is elderly and is able to use it for local calls.

Wanted a phone for my garage with caller ID. Purchased this and was very disappointed. The screen was not lit and you could barely read the incoming number. Basically returned it the same day. my opinion worthless.

a piece of junk There is a constant "humming " noise with every call, whether local or long distance. The noise interferes with conversation. Avoid buying this phone.

Phone cord too short for my need. This detail was not noted in the online description. Returned for refund.

This is a nice looking landline phone. Problem was the battery holder was severely damaged. We decided to get a basic phone instead.
