I wanted the games and experience but this wasn’t it. The controllers were cheap and the gameplay none too good. I don’t believe the unit would be durable. Once one of the controllers broke in the first two weeks I quickly returned the unit for a refund despite being under the warranty period. Too risky.

Bought it in advance as a birthday gift in January. When we finally opened it and hooked it up, the controllers don't work. Now it's too late to even return or exchange it. Probably better off finding a real vintage Atari!

I ended up returning this mainly due to the lag in response from the remote control which made the games difficult to play.

I was excited to share old school games with my son but the experience was not what I had hoped. The games were not nearly as fun as I remembered.

Sorry to say, I was hoping this would bring back fond memories, but instead, it was mediocre at best.

The delay was too long with the remote controllers. It made the game not playable.

Ok I used to play my Older Sisters 2600 when I was growing Up. I eventually got a 7800 Atari. And Of Course went on to a NES, SNES and so on and so on. But I still Missed playing the Old School Atari Games. So I figured for $70 I would try it. Well the Games look great in HD,720p. But the Controllers that came with are terrible. I tried playing Break Out and Super Breakout and the Paddle Flashes back and forth so fast I remember being able to lightly touch the old school controllers to finer movement onscreen. And I suppose I could go out and buy either Used or New Atari Controllers. I could just buy the cheaper version that comes with wired controllers but it lacks the HDMI output. I think I will just get Atari Flashback Game discs that are available for PS4 and Xbox One instead. Maybe find a Good Used 2600 or 7800 online.

This item was bought as a new purchase on Best Buy.com, but that is not how it was received.
The box was open, the front of the system was marked up, the poster and instructions were missing and there were batteries in one of the controllers.
This is not cool Best Buy. I spend a lot of money in your stores and expect my products to be in new unused condition.
