This shelf is a very good size and looks decent when it is built. With that said, the build quality is VERY poor and the building instructions are bad. Also, the small row in the middle of the shelf is pointless and doesn’t even fit Blu-ray’s…

Putting the product together was about as easy as I expected it to be. The wood is super cheap and flimsy. In the process of building it one of the special engineered screws turned its way through the outer side wall. Be advised it takes two people to put the back pieces on. There are two shelves that are not secured in place by design. The unit comes with hardware to mount it to the wall... if you have kids then this is a must since they will pull the entire shelve upon themselves and get hurt very easily. I expected a bit more resilience from this product for the price.

This unit is perfect if you have a lot of dvd's and follow the directions explicitly. However, when I tried to attach the top section to the bottom section I found that the pegs used to attach the two pieces were way too small and it fell apart as soon as I tried to lift the unit upright. I was able to keep the unit together by using the wall brackets, but this unit would not be able to stand on its own were it not for those brackets. Because of this, I cannot give this product a better rating or recommend it.

This product is flimsy as heck! I bought three and if I had enough space in my car, I would've loaded up the last two I hadn't assembled and took them back. It definitely holds a lot but the backing and anchoring is imperative to it even standing up enough for it to hold product. Good Luck

This product does the job. But the material is so cheap that it splinters and cracks. Used so much wood glue to hold it together. Also, it will not survive moving it, so once it's up and in place, it's stuck there. If I had shopped around more, I could have found a better way to spend $100.

After some trial and error my son and I finally got this together. Reading other reviews this is very cheaply made. It's true sometimes that you pay cheap you get cheap. The particle board is the absolute worst quality I have seen and I have put together a lot of cheap furniture. Even with the pre drilled holes it would crack and crumble in some areas. I had to reinforce it in several areas and I mounted it to the wall with 6 anchors just to stabilize it. It looks nice but I have doubts about long term use under the weight of tapes and discs. The box used that annoying crumbling foam packing that is hard to clean up. There has to be a better way to pack these things. I would recommend spending a little more to get better.

EXTREMELY cheaply made and flimsy product! The outside chipped when screwing pieces together. It has too many separated pieces that connect together thus causing it to be not sturdy. Even the cam locks don't help.

Was fairly easy to put together. However, I was surprised how easily it bent forward from the top, even when leaning against the wall. It was even worse with CDs in it. Three weeks after I built it, it collapsed in the middle of the night, cracking CD cases along the way. Best Buy only refunds products that are less than 14 days, so I was out of luck there. The company was unable to refund money, but they sent me another tower, which I'm not really excited about. There is a recommendation to secure the top of the case to the wall. I did not want to scar up my wall, so I did not do it. I paid for that decision with a mess of cracked jewel cases on the floor, but luckily no injuries.

flimsy pressboard and cheap material and whole thing collapsed when full. Takes 50 tiny dumb screws to secure the posterboard backing that is 7x5..really? Any other option like Velcro or sticky backing would have been better. Had to re-attach to the wall itself with HD screws as the design is poor. It is joined together in the middle at the worst possible place for structural integrity. Overpriced, would not buy it again unless it was under 50 bucks. Looks good though now and does hold a lot of media.

rack provides substantial storage, however quality is marginal. shelves are not deep enough to keep items from falling out (blue ray, dvds) Had to tip slightly backward to keep items in. assembly of top half to bottom half is not solid. when empty and standing up, cabinet is 'bendy'. I would suggest a more solid unit. this sold for $100 ea and I don't feel it was worth that amount. maybe worth $50 tops.

it gets the job done, once it's put together and mounted. putting it together is a different story, takes at least a hour. when it is together it's extremely flimsy. if I ever move I am going to be extremely afraid of moving it. for what I paid definitely not satisfied.

If you rely on the four screws to secure this to anything, you will be disappointed. The joining of top to bottom is very weak. We secured it between two vertical 2 X 4 s with a bunch of screws. I gently tapped on a shelf with a mallet, and the MDF cracked. It does provide a lot of storage for the price. The shelves are not adjustable.

At over 6 feet tall, it is eventually put together as 2 completed halves. The top half is unsurprising a bit wobbly, especially if not anchored by the top, we're a bit nervous to actually put a full load on it. There's also no way (though not surprising I suppose) that this style of furniture would ever survive a move. Its....yeah, not a strong recommendation on this one.

it's an okay shelving unit for the price and capacity. it is not very sturdy in the center once you have the whole thing put together. i had to use some straight metal screw on braces to keep the top half from falling over, once i put those on and screwed it to the wall it became much more solid

We bought this to expand our DVD storage which is completely out of hand. Ended up having to take it back because it didn't fit the room. For the price the quality is OK but the shelves are way too thin and looked funny. It might work in a media only room that needs to cram DVDs into a small space. We will keep looking .

Item looked great in packaging. Requires more than one person to out together without breaking. Unfortunately, mine broke twice before I finally glued it togreater with Gorilla Glue (Gorilla Glue is the best). Recommend with caution.

The particle board is so porous that the screws did not get very tight and wanted to strip. When we went to stand it up to put the backing on it, it separated. Had to go to hardware store to buy braces to get it to stay together.

well it holds an awful lot, bit the design is horrible, put this together with two people or when you stand it up it may break in the middle, a top and bottom half to fit in a smaller bow? horrible design

overall the product is good and can function like you need but the holes do not line up correctly so it makes it hard to put together but if you want something good price with a lot of space its ok.

I put this together as instructions said. I anchored this to the wall and added maybe 75 movies. After about a week- it collapsed and ripped holes in the wall.
