For the price, it isn't a bad unit. Looks nice, holds plenty of media. Two issues that knocked it down a bit for me. First the base isn't very wide, so there isn't a lot of stability. Luckily I don't have kids or pets so I didn't need to use the anti tip bracket they want you to drill into your wall. If you're going to be using this on thick carpet, you may want to install that bracket. Mine is on hardwood, so it's not bad. Second, instead of making the packaging big enough to go with full height side pieces, the unit is split in two and requires cam locks and dowels to make it's full 5 foot height. For some, if not put together tight enough, it may break at that joining. I would have preferred and been willing to pay a little more for, full height sides. My only complaints. I like it for the money.

This product has a decent amount of storage however it's not the sturdiest design. You build 2 halves - top and bottom - and are supposed to then connect the 2 together. However the connection only worked on one side for us, making the whole thing very wobbly. Once the back was on it tightened up. I recommend securing it to the wall for extra support. 3 stars as it works for what we need (and we probably just got a bad piece of hardware and didn't want to hassle with swapping it out)

Hard to assemble. Not as tall as previous shelves were. The alignment of the back is difficult. Compressed wood splits where screws go in.

Let me start first by saying the instructions are pretty easy to follow if you do it slowly and pay attention to which way each piece is facing. What I mean by that is that you need to make sure the black parts, or side of each piece are facing the same way. The bad part about this is that you have to assemble two separate parts, and then put them together in the full product.
Another really bad thing that I could have easily rated this one star less, is that the materials are pretty thin and can break easily. That and while doing the final step ( which was my only real struggle) , the screws tend to go in on an angle if not done right, which can end up easily damaging the sides of the tower.
All in all the cabinet was a great buy for the price, but the materials could definitely be a bit thicker, and more stable before the back gets put on. It does look great for my starter PS4 game collection. I'm definitely ready for next gen.

I was looking for something that would hold our CD collection and fit in a small room. I am please with how it looks (just like the picture) the only drawback is that is is not very deep so the CDs stick out.

I hate to write a less than stellar review but I need to note that I was pretty disappointed with this storage shelf. The unit is very VERY flimsy and the only want you’re guaranteed a firm & sturdy setup is if you secure it to the wall. The instructions to assemble were pretty hard to read and not much showing of assembly in it either. The screws and the locking keys are very loose and hard to adjust. I added a couple of my own screws to ensure security but putting them on was daunting as it began to quickly break through the fake wood and damage the shelving unit. Needless to say the setup was pretty harsh & I’ve had far better results with do-it-yourself furnishing sets purchased at discount stores. Best Buy & Amazon should reconsider this item as I can see why many folks have give it a poor review. In the end it looks nice and holds my PS4 games well but can’t say if it will last a few years due to its very poor material.

It looks beautiful when all put together. The issue is the top and bottom parts joining in the middle with dual cams and pegs that make it wobbly and weak. I had to secure to wall with included brackets but middle still gives some.

Construction directions aren't quite exact, when it comes to putting the top half and bottom half together. But if you put some thought into it, you can work it out, and when it's fully assembled, it works great.

Wood was stripped so the screws didn’t work. Very thin and flimsy. It was a struggle getting this together just to have it wobble non stop. Biggest waste of money. I would not even recommend this to my enemy! Most of the wood wasn’t even marked so I had the wonderful privilege of playing guess the piece. The fact it had you keep turning it over to do another step was pointless. Save your money and don’t buy this.

Bought today and put together. Already has brokennin one spot because there didnt pay attention to how the holes are drilled. For $79 youd think they would put a little more quality in the product.

The box was all busted up when it arrived. The stuff inside wasn't broken, but there was no hardware, pieces were missing, and some of the boards had duplicates. It was my 1st & last time ordering online from them.

Order and shipment of multimedia DVD case was uneventful and very easy to assemble. I don't know how to use an electric drill but a screwdriver as instructed, and a hammer to place on wall, sufficed.

I didn't want to believe the reviews because I had bought the 72" version of this shelf and it was pretty darn solid. This thing however is pretty shoddy. 1) I had it shipped to a store in the hopes that would prevent any parts breaking however, the box appears to have just been shipped via UPS Ground to my store and it was in VERY bad shape. Inside, one of the shelves had a slight crack and eventually broke in half during installation. I was able to fashion it together with gaffer's tape to complete construction but my word, this thing is fragile.
2) Once you build the bottom and top half, putting them together should be easy. I've done this FOR YEARS with Atlantic shelves. For whatever reason, this particular one would not go together securely. When I tried to rotate the little bolts to grab the securing rods, they would just spin and spin as if they couldn't grab hold. I was able to get a few of them secured and moved the shelf into position. I figured that once I put the wall anchors in, this would solve itself.
3) If you have an older house, chances are your walls are slightly... off. Mine have floor trim that makes the shelf sit away from the wall at an odd angle. So this isn't necessarily a knock against the product but what this caused was an issue using the pre-drilled holes for the wall anchors. Basically, they were too far away from the wall to use the included L-Brackets, which would have caused the shelf to eventually buckle and bend outward where the two halves go together. My solution was to create new pre-drilled holes on the very top of the shelves that was closer to the rear. Once secured to the wall, this thing is SOLID.
So TL;DR, it will be a little unsettling putting this thing together but with a little ingenuity, you should come out the otherwise with a solid product. That said, 3 stars given all the audibles I had to call while putting this thing together.

Made with cheap wood and it doesn't stand straight after assembly. Also back of this shelf is paper and shelf is wabbly if you put the too much media.

We bought this because it was the same style of one we bought years ago and were excited to have matching storage units. Not the easiest thing to put together, and materials are of ok quality, but we used extra glue to keep it together. Our first one has lasted us 6 years now, so hopefully this new one will be as good.
