This is THE turntable for folks looking to get into vinyl records or who want a second turntable for their setup. The automatic tonearm mechanism is a wonderful touch, and even if it wears down, the ability to manually move the arm means that this player is still perfectly useable. The inclusion of a VM95 series stylus/needle also means that you have options for replacements/upgrades down the line as needed. The one arguable "downside", and that entirely depends on the feature set you want, is the lack of Bluetooth. The built-in phono preamp means that you can just hook this into a pair of powered speakers and go, minimizing the investment you need to make into additional hardware. Overall, this is a MUST for the aspiring vinyl enthusiast, or anyone looking to get back into vinyl after all these years.

I returned this product. The look and feel of the turntable are both excellent. It has a bit more heft to it than the LP50 or LP60 lines which I quite like as well. The deciding factor for my initial purchase was that it came with the VM95 cartridge pre-installed. A marked improvement over the older automatic models.
The issues with the turntable started after playing a couple of records. It would skip. It wasn't every record, but it was enough that I swapped out the stylus for a VM95E that I had. The table still skipped.
I have two other turntables in the house (Technics 1200 and AT LP50) so I tried the same records on those. Neither one had trouble tracking the records. The skipping with LP70 seemed to get worse with use so I ultimately decided to return it after about a week. It's a shame because I really liked the look and ease of use with the table. Maybe I'll revisit the table after a design revision.

Absolutely awesome starter turntable. You won't find a better one for this price, and you can upgrade it a bit from stock. It's not perfect, but for the price I'm shocked at how good it is.

Sounds great and doesn’t cost a lot. Plays records like other record players, good quality for a good price. Needed a record player that could play through my stereo without having an inline amp.

Excellent turntable with rich, warm sound and elegant black/bronze design. The fully automatic function makes it incredibly easy to use, setup is quick, and playback is smooth and consistent. A great choice for both beginners and vinyl lovers who value quality and style.

The machine is a good one. It produces decent sound. It is also easy to make functional because the directions for use are easy to comprehend. Also, the brand lives up to its reputation for producing quality merchadise.

Love it. Don’t need to buy a phono amplifier for receivers that need them. Will still connect. Don’t have my full vinyl collection anymore, but been building it back up.

This is my first turntable. It’s very easy to use, fully automatic. It sounds great too. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality beginner record player.

Very satisfied with this turntable. I was looking for a a decent turntable to complement my vacuum tube amplifier, and contemplated to buy the Audio-Technica AT-LP120XUSB-SV Direct-Drive, but at the end I decided to go with the AT-LP70X-BZ and it was the best choice. To be an entry level unit, it plays great and has a nice look. It plays my old 60's, 70's and 80's LP very well, and I appreciate it is fully automatic. If you are not going deep into the world of vinyl, this unit is an excellent value for the price.
