Bought this as a replacement for an earlier USB turntable. I've been involved in a project digitizing a large number of vinyl records and the Audio-Technia has been excellent in that effort.

Bought this to play my old LPs. The sound is really great! Instructions easy to follow if you read them first! Forgot the ground wire but figured it out evidently. Take time to balance.

After several years of using an all-in-one turntable/cd/cassette/radio system (also purchased from Best Buy), I wanted to upgrade to a truly good turntable. This one seems to be billed as a kind of "mid-beginner's" model among audiophile reviewers but I think it's a step up from that level. Getting the tone arm balance and anti-skate adjustments right took some doing. The effort paid off, though. I coupled the turntable with a Sony amplifier/receiver and have been enjoying my LP record collection played with good fidelity from the comfort of this stable yet sensitive turntable. Now I just need to find a CD player and cassette tape deck to complete my system.

Works and sounds great. I had no problem hooking it up to my old stereo system or plugging it into my computer. Cartridge is decent and easy to balance on the tone arm.

Great quality for the price. I can now listen to all of my vinyls and buy new ones. Sound quality with needle is so much better than electronic music.

Bought this for my daughter as a gift. It was easy to setup. She is happy with it and it sounds awesome playing through the vintage, 1977, stereo receiver that she is using.

The Audio-Technica AT-LP120USB stereo turntable was a great purchase for my collection of LP records. There is nothing like the music recorded on an LP record. You can here all instruments and the clarity is unique. Set-up went very well. If you want to here great music get one of this. you won't be disappointed.

This Audio-Technica stereo turntable is excellent for turning the music on your LPs into digital files on your computer. The turntable has plenty features, especially considering the price. The direct drive motor is speed accurate and has excellent startup speed. I found the included cartridge a bit tinny on the high end, but it was easily replaced with a higher quality cartridge. The tonearm accepts a standard headshell. I really appreciate the light that illuminates the stylus. It really helps you find the starting groove. This turntable sounds good with my Sony receiver and speakers and is a great value.

Chances are you're not going to pick this up if you're just starting out with vinyl, but once you've outgrown that Crosley Cruiser or other cheap turntable and you're looking for something more substantial, this thing delivers. It's solid, stylish, easy to set up, and comes loaded with quality components like the AT95E Dual Magnet™ cartridge and stylus to make your records sound their absolute best and direct drive motor for amazingly consistent and worry free speed control. I wasn't thinking I really needed a new turntable, but after trying this thing, I was happily proven wrong!

Many lifetimes ago, I was a college radio DJ and spun vinyl on the industry standard Technics SL-1200 turntable. When piecing together a new home stereo, I wanted something with similar features and benefits to the SL-1200, at a significantly lower cost. After reading a plethora of reviews on all kinds of makes, models and pricepoints, I selected the Audio-Technica, and am thrilled with the build quality, features and sound quality. I might upgrade the needle cartridge at some point, but the one it comes with is quite good. Highly recommend!

    Best $250 turntable

Bought this turntable because I wanted to digitize my vinyl. Seems like a very solid turntable for the $250 price tag-- probably the best cheapest non-DJ USB turntable money can buy. Cartridge is great, but maybe sounds a little bit calm/tired/mellow with the included Eliptical stylus (a Shibata stylus upgrade fixed that for me). Almost everything about this turntable is superb; only thing it lacks, is a powerful motor. I was not intending to use this turntable for DJing, and was also well aware of the fact that it is advertised as a "low torque" motor before I bought one. Still, I did not expect the motor to be THIS sluggish. It functions fine, but is just too weak to DJ with and that's the only reason why I give it 4 stars. Nevertheless. this is the turntable to buy, unless you want an Audio-Technica turntable with a stronger motor that you can actually DJ with, then look at the more expensive AT-LP1240USB.

Researched a lot before deciding on this turntable for my return to vinyl music. I have about 300 albums in pristine condition that I saved from the 70’s and 80’s. I haven’t listened to them in years. Some I bought as close outs for pennies on the dollar and have never played. My ears are old now so paying a ridiculous price for so-called audiophile sound makes no sense . This tt gives me clear ,clean musical sound that cannot be matched for the money.

Got this to listen to my LP collection that had been in storage sine 1991. Has line outs so no need for phono preamp. Easy set up. Sounds great!
