Harder than it should be but so far no security issues

I bought the ultimate security and software upgrade yet there is still alot that you have to buy seperately. Not impressed and will not use again. Will go back to microtrend

This software is all about selling you additional modules. "your computer has this, or needs this. Buy this to solve the problem" constantly. At the end of the subscription, I'm out!

I tried three separate times to install this item. After several minutes I would be sent to an unknown tech center. I am not sure they were not scammers? One of the techs stated that it would take several hours for them to install the item, and they would have complete control over my computer. I decided to give up at that point, and have stopped trying to install AVG as furnished by Best Buy.

It constantly pops up saying that this and that are wrong with your computer and then when you click on the issue it directs you to purchase more AVG products. And when it is about to expire you do not get any warning or reminder that you get with other software programs. I have used McAfee, Kasper, etc. with no issues. I bought AVG because it was on sale half price. I wouldn't buy it again if they gave it to me for free.

Did not seem to load actual paid subscription service. Loaded temporary program. Took a lot of back and forth to get the right software downloaded.

This product just has the minimum basics of internet security.. The software is design to up sale the user...

It really wasn't what I expected. They still want you to subscribe to their other services like updated drivers and using their VPN for additional charges. I would not buy. Certainly not the ultimate. It was difficult to install due to poor instructions.

after the basic checks that it did (after install) had half dozen diff programs that would no longer function EVEN AFTER reinstalling them completely. Had to redo my whole computer

Good idea, bad reality. It was tracking me everywhere like malware and suggesting stuff to buy. This is the only unpleasant experience I have ever had with Best Buy.

This product is a sales pitch to buy more products from maker. Slowed my computer down.

Product ended up not working on any of our devices as advertised. Find something else and save your money.

When i went to install the product i was connected to a gentlemen who i could not understand. Tried for a while then just gave up.

bought the digital copy... long story short it doesn't work and i got burned on this particular purchase.

Bought this, instead of going with McAfee. Which was FREE!!. Big mistake.

Needed to contact customer service to solve a installation they could not solve it. Return this for credit

Can't get the digital download to work. Site continues to say Sorry something went wrong

Do not buy this product. It is garbage. AVG no no!

The software suite has lots of features and is very customizable. Being able to install on unlimited devices is a huge plus. Some of the customizable features can be a little confusion. Being the ‘Ultimate’ edition you would think all modules of the software would be included. You get the anti-virus and clean-up features, but the pop-up messages start right away letting you know what modules are not included and have to be purchased. VPN is an extra $60 per year. The Password Protection feature is another $20 per year. Their is a slew of additional features that will be offered for additional charges. Customer Service is good, but any in-depth assistance will cost extra. Virus definitions seem to update about daily, but other anti-virus software update as frequently as hourly. If you have a ton of devices to install anti-virus on this is a good option. If you only need two or three protected, their are cheaper and more complete options.
