    This is a must have if you have steering wheel controls - This allows you to use your factory controls, and in a big truck like mine, it is almost necessary to keep focused on the road.

    Worked like it said it would on my 2014 wrx hatch with non navigation. All buttons work with my Kenwood dx570 flawlessly. Not sure on install as I had geeksquad do it for me.

    Does what it is supposed to do... Was a little annoyed that I got to Best Buy and they said I needed this for the steering controls to work. I worked with several associates at the store and online and when scheduling my install that I had all the parts needed.... Installer said he would "waive" the install fee for this? I bought everything from Best Buy because they had the free install..

    I bought this adapter as I have a 2017 Dodge Durango and I updated my stereo receiver to a new Pioneer AVH-4200NEX stereo system which required my replacing the entire front panel of the original controls for the stereo and ac. I purchased a Maestro after market kit for this and unfortunately the unit was defective in the steering wheel control would not function. I purchased this axxess kit as instructed by my stereo installation guy and problem resolved, as my steering wheel controls now work perfect.

    Works great, just had to wire it in and keep hitting volume up until it programmed itself. A definite must if you are changing out your stock head unit

    Connects directly to Axxess radio harness

    I attached this to Axxess’ radio harness which made this harness a simple install. You don’t need the wires that come with it only the black box that easily connects to the radio harness. Be aware, on a JVC RADIO you need to buy a resistor from Amazon for the harness to recognize the JVC radio. It allows you to program 2 functions for some buttons that operate the radio from the steering wheel.
