A really great action film with an ensemble cast with a great plot. It may be a bit cliche but that doesn't mean its a bad film. I would say its one of Ron Howard's best films behind Apollo 13 and A Beautiful Mind.

For Pyro-Maniacs

I didn't think much of 'Backdraft.' It has some excellent effects and stunt sequences, but unless you're a fire-fighter, or a pyro-maniac for that matter, there's just not that much to enjoy in my opinion. Plenty of bonus material for fans on this widescreen 2-disc special edition.
