Bean Pet Activity Tracker had no charge new, I had trouble making contact with charging cable contacts. The item must have been on the shelf a while since it only worked for one day because the battery charge only lasted one day. We used this tracker on cats. They were very unhappy. even if we had a good unit, It would have been a difficult chore to take these trackers off to charge and reattach. Not for fussy cats. The manufacture expects you to use Facebook. I will not use Facebook.

This device is pretty cool, i slipped it on my cat (had to put a collar on her unfortunately, which she doesn't normally wear) and after 3-4 days I've been collecting her sleeping and play patterns. It's not super interesting (turns out she isn't training for an iron cat competition) but I do know that one day when she is sick or I feel something is off, I can slip the collar back on and get quantitative data confirming my suspicions. Btw, pet sleeps ~16-17 hours with 4-5 hours of play (like 10 minutes of high activity). Confirmed cat. Some people had issues with charging, and I did too; heres my advice: 1. You really need to push that sucker in the charger and there should be no gap between the end of the pull and the cutout on the charger. 2. A lot of USB chargers these days shut off current when they detect the draw is low. This thing draws very little power when charging, so its best to plug it into a computer or a purpose built USB port which doesn't have any 'intelligent' charging features. Or you can do what I did, and plug it into a battery pack and keep hitting the 'wake' button on the battery every 5 minutes. Takes ~30 mins to charge. Used it for 4 days now, battery went from 96 -> 92%

This is a great activity tracker for my pet!! It helps me make sure my dog gets the exercise he needs and its fun seeing how he rates with the other pets in the same age group. Now it's not only me using my Fitbit to track my activity but I also get to track my pet's activity with Poof. It's been a fun thing to do together to help both of us stay in shape and healthy.

Call it ignorance but we thought it worked from afar. It works by blue tooth and has to be synced by data. We are returning it.

My girl wears this every day I track her sleep, food and activity It is fantastic Love it!

could not get this to fully charge. would plug it in, the teeny tiny light came on to indicate it was charging, then a minute later its out. kept resetting it but wouldn't get past 3%. was not worth the trouble for me to call any support numbers, so I just returned it.

Since January 2018 I've purchased six (6) Poof Beans, replaced two that wouldn't charge out of the box, and just received another two that won't charge, new out of the box. In the past several weeks the ones that were working are discharging completely in 36 - 48 hours, requiring constant checks to keep charged. Originally they would last 14 or 15 days which was ok, but no where near the stated performance. I've attempted to contact the manufacturer of these via their app, via their web site customer support form and via their customer support email. THE MANUFACTURER HAS NEVER RESPONDED TO ANY OF MY REQUESTS FOR SERVICE OR WARRANTY SUPPORT. The manufacturer is in breach of their written warranty and Best Buy should penalize them. I plan to pursue legal remedies to recover the investment.

Had to send back my first one because it wouldn’t charge. I question the accuracy of the device as I know what the dog did each day and there’s no way he should of been reaching the 100% goal.

this is wonderful to have, we occasionally drop the dog off at daycare so interesting to see how much activity he does vs being at home daily

I like using my Bean to see how much my new pup has moved around in a day. Let's me gauge if I need to exercise her more.

I bought this for my pet but i returned it because the activity tracking was poor. And for you to sync the data with your app you need to almost touch the tracker with your phonr

The unit wouldn’t take a charge or sync with the app installed. Since this was ordered from the vendor I could not exchange or have Best Buy order it for me. It would have cost twice as much to reorder at regular price so I don’t know whether this product would be worthwhile.

This is a great toy/tracker. I can find out when my dog is active when we are gone and ever since I have it I have been playing more with him to make the goal.

I loved the features. The only problem is that when you turn the Bluetooth off on your phone you have to reset the whole device.

I don't care for this tracker. It doesn't connect to the app most of the time and it needs to be charged continuously because it doesn't seem to hold a charge for long.

I bought this just for fun to see how much our dog moves. It's interesting to see his activity as he roams the country side.

The great and fun product.It has some technical problems but it's okay.
