I'm giving this unit a glowing review as long as the company continues to evolve and upgrade the functionality of the device! Other than that, beautiful work. This is a very capable, solidly built machine that runs off of a rechargeable lithium battery and produces sound quality > my MPC 5000. The Beat Thang has tank like all metal construction that integrates perfectly with the included DAW software. The feel of the pads = genius. Nice Thangs are expensive and you get what you pay for.

It is what they say it is and more it's about time something came out for the people with ADD lol and true love and passion for the game or just messing around, and Its a monster!!!! When you put in all the other features Sampling,Auto Chop,16 trk,and effects it's power house workstation period.

I have owned several drum machines over the years and none can touch the Beat Thang. This unit is rock solid in construction, ease of use, and sounds. The company even offers a library of tutorials for the customers. This is the future of drum machines. I really enjoy this unit and it works great in my environment.

I was one of the first to get the Beat Thang software, so I was waiting for this great hardware. So many sounds to choose from and you can download a free Dallas Austin sound pack to add to it. It must have over 4000 sounds with the free sound pack added on. All my other hardware is getting dusty because the Beat Thang does it all. I am really pleased that I finally have it! ATR- All 2 Real!

Although the unit has a couple of quirks, it sounds great and it is easy to use. The one thing I had a problem with was the terminology. An instrument and kit are one in the same. Midi setup was easy although the official video stated the to turn on the wrong midi input, so I went to user videos on you tube to figure that out. I bought a Novation Ultra Nova, which works well for the unit. The Beat Thang has very cool sounds. I was able to do basic beats and songs within two days of part-time use. It's a little pricey, but it's built like a tank and has cool lighting. Lithium Ion battery lasts a long time when not powering a keyboard.

The Beat Thang is an answer to prayer for any musician wanting to put a little hop into their hip. I love the range of beats. Couldn't be better! Everyone who has an interest in music should check this out! I'm loving mine!!!

Slow Teach Support... I need help now...... Not being able to get it makes me go to another machine or another program...... Having to go to something else lets me know that I don't need the Beat Thang for what I am working on at the time....... This lack of help will get it up on the shelf.....So far it's the tech support I will worn my friends about it.......
