    Used this to plug my PS4 into a non HD projector it worked but not quite what I expected. I couldn't get the sound to come out to an external sound system. The color was off slightly from the projector.

    I just bought a new Sony all-in-one computer which has limited ports like most of the new computers. I thought I would use an adapter on the HDMI port and convert to VGA, and keep my 2 USB ports open . VGA is what our church's projector needs. Unfortunately, you will find that you cannot dumb down the computer's resolution enough to match the VGA device's resolution. In most cases the picture will not stay stable and collapses. Converting digital to analog is not this devices best attribute. Even though you will lose a port, use a USB adaptor it works like a charm !!
