The story was fairly all over the place. And it really had nothing to do with Beowulf, even in a "Retelling" of the story way. They wanted in on some sweet Game of Thrones coattails while spending 1/10th the money. And hey, Beowulf is in the public domain, so let's use his name. Some of the sets looked cheap and the acting was often ham handed. The writing felt like it was done by 2 different teams, not looking at each others work. Things they tried to surprise you with...were so not surprising it felt kind of embarrassing for them. The continually had the problem of talking about armies and going to war...and there were like 100 people in the village. And if you are going to war, make spears, not swords. Easier to use. More efficient use of "rare" iron. I got it for $5, so won't complain too much, but really, it's not very good, but good enough during stay at home times.

Not as good as Game of Thrones, but something to watch for a good price

They keep you entertained, it's weird but fun to watch.

Another great find at Best Buy. The price was right at 9.99 for a 4 disc set of a great movie.
