Posted .Hello, Lars. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on the Blink Mini indoor Security Camera. A standard live view lasts 30 seconds. Tap "Continue?" to extend viewing for up to 5 minutes total. To conserve bandwidth, a "Continue?" button appears, asking if you want to keep watching the "Live View." The button appears a few times until your viewing limit of five minutes is reached. With the Blink Basic/Plus plan (sold separately) you can have an extended live view of up to 90 continuous minutes with the Blink Mini. I live with 2 roommates and they usually enter my room, i have no problem with this but I like to have an eye open just in case. And its 20 bucks so it doesn’t get better than that when it comes to a security camera
