Its a cool cam for beginners or add ons

Bought for my mom and thinking of buying for myself. 3 stars because I think Blink could offer the storage for these free even if at a 3 day cap. The price is fair. Field of view is smaller than I expected. Cameras are SUPER EASY TO INSTALL!!!! You literally just scan the qr code and hook to your wifi. Was thinking of getting the sync2 to go with when they start selling it a la carte, but after trying out the outdoor Blinks that come with the sync2 I think I'll pass. For some reason its not as cut and dry as I thought it would be and I don't want to have to pull the usb out to view recordings. Wish they came in black. Cord could be longer. RESPONSE TIME IS VERY QUICK many sec cams have lags but the blink so far seems to have the least amount of lag! Options on app for the minis are limited. All in all it seems to do the job I need. Its great for my moms house and she feels better having them. Oh the voice/talk feature also works very well. I'm definitely keeping the set i bought for my mom and ill probably keep the set I bought for myself just to view live as needed in a couple dead spots. For the price, I've wasted more money on less important things but a little sad I somehow was supposed to get them at the sale price then missed it because midnight came and lost my sale price.
