We have owned vary many cell phones over the years, cheap phones as well as flag ship phones. My wife's Galaxy died and she asked for a good phone, but with a small budget. I purchased this Vivo 5R due to its good specs. The phone has a very good quality screen, the sensitivity could be better as if the fingers are too dry it will not pick up the touch from the first time. The shell of the phone feels like it's made of metal or aluminum. It is easy to hold and weighs less than my LG G5. The USB charger is a standard Micro-USB, it's good because we have lots of accessories with that cable and not need to buy more USB Type C. The camera works very good in day light and outside, when taking pictures at night they come out very pixalized and grainy, the same thing goes for both front and back cameras. The great part about the cameras is the amount of filters pre-loaded and different shooting modes, anyone can shoot pro like pictures with ease on this phone. The battery is just phenomenal, it easily lasts a day with heavy use, when using it lightly my wife can go 3 days without recharging, just make sure and turn off background apps you don't want to use. When using email and text messages the messages get sent right away and the transfer speeds seem as fast as my G5. When watching Youtube videos I don't see any lag, but it would also depend on your connection for the carrier, we have T-Mobile with 4G LTE coverage. The phone can accept 2 SIM cards with 2 different phone numbers to work at once, or 1 SIM and 1 MicroSD card. The biggest problem with this phone would be the speaker, it is not loud. If you are in a busy or loud environment you will probably not hear the phone ring. Overall I really like this phone and give it 4 stars. The price is very good, at $200 it was hard to find a better buy. I would recommend this to anyone on a budget and that doesn't care about the newest and greatest. My personal phone is the LG G5 which I paid $700 about 6 months ago, this phone is almost as good for a fraction of the cost. I was not paid or offered anything for this review. Great price, great product. Works better than other leading brands. Both cameras work great and with a very good image quality. The sound is outstanding. My only complaint is the battery, it last almost all day but for someone like me, who uses the GPS and the browser VERY often, it is not enough. It last to me from 9 to 7 on one charge. But it is a really good phone for the price.

I bought this to be a vacation backup. Whenever I travel somewhere sandy or mountainous I leave my main phone at home and take this one. It's performed well every time. I took advantage of the open bootloader and installed lineageOS, which is a huge improvement over stock. The screen is clear and bright, the battery lasts all day, and it's durable. I don't use a case and there's hardly a scratch on it after a few trips' use. It only gets 4 stars because it has 2gb of memory and it's crippling. Everything gets sluggish throughout the day and it's necessary to restart it every day to clear the memory. Overall, it does the job I bought it for.

I really have no complaints with this phone at all. I did not know what to expect for the price but this is on par with, if not better than, my last phone which was a MUCH more expensive "namebrand". The pics on this are really incredible, the clarity of sound is very good and it has proven to be quite durable. I hike and climb mountains every weekend so I have a reputation for destroying phones at breakneck speed and even though I have already put this through the ringer, it is like new. I suppose if I have to find one thing to critique is that notifications do not always come through timely as they did with my last phone but it has not proven to be that big of a deal so far. Honestly...for under $200, I cannot imagine a better phone.

This smartphone has all the features you need for basic business. The cameras are AWESOME! I needed a new phone and this does EVERYTHING!! It has great screen clarity. The only downside is that the speaker is on the back and sometimes it is not very loud. I will probably be buying Blu phones for a long time to come! Great features for the price.

Good phone for the price, has all the new stuff , finger id , a good camera, 3 ram, 32 gb space.

It's stylish, light weight. I liked the box that included phone case, screen protector, extra USB cable. Excellent camera, both front and back. Fast. Battery didn't last long as most reviews said. It will last for a day when it's sitting ideal. When gps was in use, full charge would last for probably 4 hrs, and the phone became very hot. Some settings were missing , some were placed at odd locations that were either difficult to find or grouped with unrelated features. Some feature description was confusing. Setting up the phone required a lot of guessing. I don't like this phone. But, for the cheap price, I don't complain.

This phone has what the top names have. The only real difference is processor speed. They say the iPhone and Samsung phone are faster - but you can't tell the difference. Save money.

This is my 2nd phone (exact model,etc.)since January 6. Takes great pictures,I imagine it has good storage ,great texting, good phone reception. But it's quirky...It stops in the middle of data, it goes on and off when trying to go to an app. Sent the first phone back; this second one is friendlier than the first. I love BLU phones so I hope they don't screw it up.....Just sayin'

okay phone for the price, has some difficulty getting signal and keeping battery charge. Nice screen and clear pictures.

Wanted to find out how to replace said battery and I realized that I have to break the screen before I can and then remove some 20, micro suzed screws. Said purchase for new battery costs over $58. Then after replacing the battery it says to tape your screen back on! Seriously? I'd rather get a new phone! I'm nearly blind already and on top of all that, I have to get special screwdriver for screws the size of the head of a straight pin!

Solid phone, pretty good for the price. A lot of memory with a good camera and the latest Android, on top of great RAM and very friendly UI. I was originally very excited for the phone, but I didn't receive notifications from ANY app. It might've been me that needed around with the settings, but I liked for everything and couldn't change it. Messages on Snapchat, emails, sports notifications, nothing. It was pretty cool it comes with a case, earbuds, and screen protectors, but needs some improvements.

My husband was able to use this phone with ease. technology can frustrate him, and this phone was an easy transition from his prior phone.

This phone has many things going for it including the included memory, screen size, and camera. The only issues are the volume is to low and the power button is sensitive. I keep powering the phone off and hanging up on people.

Had the Vivo XL before this one and really liked it. Only reason I bought a new one is because I lost the XL. This phone is fantastic for the price! love the feel, only wish the power button was not so sensitive. It restarted its self in my pocket a few times. Other then that it is great and really like the finger print scanner. I would recommend this phone to my friends and family.

I needed a new phone quickly and at a decent price. This one wasn't what I was looking for. Too big and clunky and not intuitive or I just was so used to using MOTO phones that it was not comfortable. Also, it may seem minor but I really do need the notification light and this one didn't have it! Took it back the next day and bought a ZTE Axon mini. Love my mini.

Good Camera.. pictures are great in low light.worth for the price.

The plus of the phone for me is that it has 32gigs of memory for the price that I paid for it. It's a good phone overall.
