6 year old son was mesmerized and enjoying almost as much as I was. Definitely worth the 4K version if have TV to handle. 4 DVD's for hours of chill fun. Very peaceful to nap to with ocean sounds and imagery. Last disc includes interesting back story's on the filming. Getting Earth and Life next (same series-but don't believer they are in 4k) since they came out earlier.

Blue Planet is another world far more interesting than outer space IMO being a scuba driver! God bless Richard Attenborough & Hans Zimmer along with everyone who contributed to this amazing DVD!

Got at a great price. Never watched but excited to.

With the narration of Sir David Attenborough and a soundtrack by Hans Zimmer, the BBC really knocked it out of the park with Blue Planet 2. You want to push your TV to its limits and see what a true 4K HDR content looks like, then absolutely get this. Not only is it a treat for the eyes and ears, but it is also educational and lets us learn about sea creatures, and the impacts humans are having on their habitats. Virtually anyone will like this documentary. I have watched it with my parents, friends, cousins, and nieces and nephews and everyone loves the film. This is a definite purchase to add to your media collection. Check out Planet Earth 2 as it is just as wondrous.

I've always liked getting to see other places on Earth, particularly our crazy underwater world. If you enjoy Discovery, NatGeo, etc. shows, these scenes will be up your alley. Be forewarned, each segment tends to end with a reminder that much of the life they filmed could very easily disappear if we don't take better care of the environment. I don't take issue with this, but I know some will complain about it being 'preachy,' etc. That said, the 4K shots and music are beautiful and it's the next best thing to traveling to these places yourself. And listening to Attenborough is always pleasant.

This is a great series and I am happy to be able to watch it anytime that I want. It is super sharp and clear and very informative about the wildlife and sea creatures that we share this world with. Looking forward to viewing it many times.

Excellent opportunity to enjoy our 4K viewing. Clarity and colors make you feel that you are in the water with the filmmaker.

I recently purchased Blue Planet II and Planet Earth II in 4K to try out my new 4K TV as much as for any other reason. They are both feasts for the eyes. Anyone who appreciates our one and only home, and the brink of disaster it is facing if we continue down our current path, should be inspired to take action.

Love planet earth! I purchased mostly all the Earth documentarys as they are amazing in both visuals and story.

modern cinematic technology at its finest, will the planet ever cease to amaze. Add in David Attenborough and you have achieved the next level experience that pushes you to purchase this artisanal cinematic masterpiece.

I just can't get over the logistics, patience, luck, planning, and effort needed to capture nature in this way. It is just spectacular to watch this from start to finish. Simply unbelievable!

The displays at the store do no do it justice. With a Samsung 65" Q6F, Samsung 8500 4K player and Samsung 5.1.4 surround system, it is simply amazing! Awesome picture quality!!

Excellent nature movie with great cinematic photography. It feels like you are right there if you watch in 4K. I highly recommend this to Nature movie fans.

This video captures is this series are absolutely breathtaking. You add in the fact that this is all captured in 4K and displayed in HDR. It’s a must buy!
