Bosch Dishwasher

So far so good. It looks nice and runs quietly. The cleaning results are very good. The interior racks provide plenty of space to load it up. A very good/solid machine.

I only wish that it had a pop out door at completion of the cycle, like the 500 series does. I solved that with a implement that one pulls out to keep the door open after the cycle finishes. I bought it on AMAZON for 11 dollars and it does the trick. So far that is my only complaint since it needs to air dry and has to have the door open in some manner or the dishes are all wet.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Previous dishwasher was a Bosch that died after just over 3 years (outside of warranty of course), but the space in our kitchen was built for Bosch only so we picked up this one. The previous Bosch did a superior job at both washing and drying. For this dishwasher I highly suggest washing off ALL dishware before putting it into this machine. Also, be ready for waterspots on pretty much everything, something the previous Bosch didn't do, so its not a problem with the chosen soap or the water supplying the unit. The silverware tray is an absolute tragedy. You will want to purchase a different tray to live in your unit, as the one that comes with this dishwasher is garbage and arranges your silverware in a way where it will get bathed, but not washed. So, if your silverware has particulates on them when they go in, they will have particulates on them when they come out. Lastly, the trays are not well laid out, so the opportunities to get your bowls, cups and glasses to fit snuggly are few and far between, thankfully my wife and I grew up with Tetris. Overall, I rated it as: 1 star for being functional and fitting the space, 1 star for controls on the front, instead of hidden on the top, and 1 star for not having to burn my hands everyday washing dishes.

Dry dishes are a hit or miss. Sometimes dry, sometimes wet. Not sure why but we are trying to figure it out.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had replaced a GE with this more expensive Bosch 300 thinking it would be amazing because of the name and price but the first load had to be run 3x with the 3rd time being on a 2 hour Sanitize mode. Incredibly frustrated that this cost so much but doesn’t clean well. The cheaper $350 dishwashers give the same cleaning as this $1,100 one. I would rather hand wash than use it.

Use Finish® Jet Dry® rinse aid to help dishes dry faster. *This doesn't have to be added for each cycle, you fill the reservoir then the dishwasher will indicate when the reservoir is empty and needs to be refilled.* 2. For everyday use, we recommend Auto Cycle, which is best for mixed loads of dishes with varying amounts of food soil. 3. Select special drying options like "Sanitize and Extra Dry". Sanitize operates at a higher temperature to help eliminate bacteria and enhance drying results. 4. When unloading clean dishes, pull out lower racks first to avoid dripping water from the upper rack. If these tips do not help improve drying, please contact our Customer Support team at 1-800-944-2904 for additional assistance. Thank you.

The glasses drawer can be pulled completely out. It’s very quiet. The controls are visible on the outside. But, that means no towel bar.
