This dishwasher is so quiet and does an excellent job cleaning and drying. Very happy. Word of advice..machine must be level when installed! We brought dishwasher in during an Reno. Floor must be complete and machine completely level to work.

Unit has great finish and controls are on to of the door that is hidden and out of reach of grandchildren. Three inside baskets offer much capacity. Runs extremely quiet and light on the floor make it easy to know if it is on or off

First impression: 42 dB is crazy quiet. Bought our home as a new construction in 2008 with a GE Quietpower 3. Very open floor plan, 1600 sq ft of hardwood so quiet was not so quiet. We only washed dishes at night, using the delay function to ensure we weren’t disturbed. We debated on the 39 dB Bosch vs the 42 dB but reading online reviews couldn’t justify the price difference. Now we are VERY happy with the 42 dB choice. It completely meets our needs. But I’m still trying to figure out how to load it efficiently. And there is no delay option. I guess we don’t need it now but it’s odd the option isn’t there. And we’re still playing with cycle options, very long by default. It’s a work in progress but if you think quiet is your primary purchase driver, go with this unit. You’re throwing away $ for 39 dB models.

My husband didn’t think it was running! We’ve only used it a few times so far but everything is clean and the dishes are dry even without the heating element. Pleased with our purchase and the service from the delivery and install team was fantastic.

Love it! It's quiet, it holds so much more than my last dishwasher. In fact, I have to run it before it's full because I run out of cups and plates before it's even near full.

I only gave it 4 stars because of the configurations for placing glasses and dishes in it. We are still trying to figure it out. Too much wasted space. We do like how quiet it is. There is no heating element but there is a button for extra dry which is nice.

This Bosch dishwasher cleans our dishes really, really well and is unbelievably quiet. Almost to a fault, I have to check that it's still running sometimes. After almost a year we still think it's great.

Performs exactly as expected. Josh, who led the two person install team was both efficient and helpful with user tips. Use Finish or Cascade. Keep the rinse dispenser filled and don't add dishes in the middle of the cycle. Drying and cleaning is better than the Kichenaid this Bosch replaced. A good choice.

I love this dishwasher. It is so quiet, even quieter than another brand that was supposed to have the same decibel rating. The third rack and the adjustable height levels of the top two racks make it easy to fit lots more into each load.

Significant upgrade from what I previously had. The third rack is great for big utensils. I could not believe how quiet this dishwasher was. A great feature to let you know it is running is a red LED that projects from the bottom onto the floor.

Never had a Bosch appliance and wasn't sure if spending that much money was warranted but I gotta say it is the best dishwasher I've ever owned. Quiet, cleans sparkling and I love the features.

Dishes are sooooo clean. Is incredibly silent.... cannot hear it unless you’re close to it. Dishes and glasses are spotless but since it does not have a heating coil there is water buildup if you have a dish or cup open end up.

I love the sleek look and how quiet the dishwasher is when it is running.

This unit is so quite that without the light shinning on the floor, we would not know it is on. Still getting used to loading pattern with dishes, but the third tray is great to have. Glad we purchased this unit.

My previous dishwasher was 28 years old, so this was quite a change! Although I had made up my mind to purchase a Samsung (to match our stove & microwave oven), the salesperson shared his opinion of the Bosch. With all the great features (3 shelves, middle shelf is moveable), it was a done deal. We're still learning about it, but I would highly recommend this dishwasher!

Replaced our Whirpool Gold 3 year old dishwasher with this Bosch 800 series ... Huge difference in how well this cleans and drys. At 42 decibels, during operation this is very quiet. Very happy with the purchase.

It is so fancy compared to my old one. Cleans great! So quiet i never know its on. And my 2 year old is fascinated by the light that shines on the ground when its on. Excellent deal and love the service from Best buy.

Just as the salesman told me, after 3 to 4 days of building up a full load, the dishes came perfectly clean, sparkling, and spot free without rinsing prior to loading. Also this unit is very quiet and can accommodate my large dinner plates.

It’s been fantastic. Best of the bunch. Great at cleaning, super quiet, certainly not ugly. Only knock would be sometimes top rack items (some) aren’t 100% dry but that’s not unusual in this type of dishwasher.
