Purchased this dishwasher to replace one that was 10+ years old.The Bosch dishwasher is so quiet you could practically hear a pin drop with it running. Dishes come out very clean even when the machine is totally full. Extremely easy to install. Also, if your water connection point is close enough (less than ~5ft), the water hook-up kit is not necessary. One caution: Dishwasher requires a separate 3-prong power cord to be purchased if you plan to connect to a wall outlet. The power wire from the machine has an electrical receptacle to hardwire to the home electricity.

We purchased this Bosch DW about a month ago. This review is solely on the dishwasher. We love it! It doesn't stack as well as our previous Maytag, but getting used to another way to organize the dishes. It has a top (third) rack for very small items or for extra knives, flatware, egg-turners, spatula, etc. that is a huge assset. The top (second) rack can be moved to a higher/lower position. Another plus! It cleans well but sometimes the drying cycle doesn't dry the dishes completely. When finished, I just leave the door ajar to finish the drying. The design is very modern and the stainless cleans well with silver polish/wipes. The only issue is that you must turn off the DW after it is completed. If you don't, every time you open the door a buzzer goes off (each time) which can be annoying. You must also be careful not to accidentally hit a cycle with your finger/hand when opening and closing the door if not washing the dishes as it will buzz again, each time.

Bosch is a truely fantastic machine and knows how to make dishwashers. Let me just warn you about one thing-Best Buy's description about the drying system is completely inaccurate. It states that this dishwasher has "heated dry". Completely wrong. NONE of the Bosch dishwashers have heated dry. All of them use "condensation drying" method instead which works fantastic. I really wish Best Buy would correct this mistake. I almost returned this washer before giving it a try because the install person said there is no "heated dry" element/coil and most US based manufacturers we used before have heated dry. Anyway, the washer works awesome, it's supremely quiet (you can still hear it running but barely) and most importantly-the dishes come out looking spotless! One quick note, you must use the quick dry liquid in order for the condensation drying to work properly. Overall, it is a great purchase and the third rack for utensils is fantastic. Again-Best Buy-get your facts straight!

Love, love, love the way the dishwasher cleans and it is super quiet. The light indicator on the floor is a big help to know that is on or that it is done. We like the third rack for utensils so much we don't use the one on the lower rack and have removed it. Another one of my favorite features is the ability to make adjustments, particularly to the middle rack (up and down). Still getting use to the configuration and the best way to load dishes but again, there is more flexibility since you can raise and lower the middle rack and fold down some of the separators. The biggest thing that keeps it from being perfect is the drying, particularly plastics.

Very quiet dishwasher. Red light shines on floor so you know its running. Cleans well. Love the top shelf for silverware. Does seem to have a long clean cycle.

Does a good job cleaning. Any full cycle takes 2:09 hrs so pretty long. Very quiet. Dish racks are perfect for Correlle plates, has another row of wider ties that can fit larger plates. 3rd cutlery rack is an amazing invention - it cleans really well even caked on spoons with peanut butter on it and frees up a lot of room in the lower 2 racks. All in all a great dishwasher. Filter is very easy to access and clean.

Main reason I went with the Bosch was the noise level. Very happy so far; can hardly tell when it is running. Has done well so far cleaning dishes. Is a little more difficult to load then my previous dishwasher; the tines are very close together, especially on the bottom rack, so placing large bowls is a bit tricky, but overall, has very good capacity. The third (upper) rack is awesome - super handy for tons of items and so far, all have come out clean.

It is amazingly quiet and cleans very well. The only problem is a bad odor. There is an area in the bottom under the filters that always holds some water, and that's where the odor comes from. I called to have a serviceman check it, and was told that this was normal. He said this happens in all the new dishwasher models. I was quite surprised and disappointed that I just paid a lot of money and I have to put up with the odor. So if other brands in fact have this problem, then I guess there is no choice.

The Bosh does a great job cleaning dishes and the 3rd rack lets me remove the silverware racks. Very quiet and holds a lot. Takes some learning how to stack items versus other units I've used. But pricey to get 3rd rack and adjustable racks.

Quiet. Washes well although we scrape almost all the food off the plates and utensils as to not clog filter and leave any odor. It will dry completely except for any dish or glass with concave bottom if upside down. That is normal. . Must use rinse aid. Use the auto with sanitize and it will dry completely although it is long cycle. Only other negative is that if you leave door closed in between cycles with dirty dishes you will have plastic and humid odor smell. Alleviated this by having dish towel slightly propping door open to let air in. Dishes fit great. Bowls have to be aligned with some effort. Good silverware rack. If it lasts without service for at least five years then well worth the money. I did buy extended warranty just in case.

I read a fair number of reviews before purchasing the Bosch over a similarly priced kitchen aid model. The prior reviews are pretty spot on. The dishwashers cleans well, has great capacity, is very very quiet, but also has a definite odor that is apparent when opened. It has diminished slightly after a few months but is still there. The odor does Not transfer to the dishes. Lack of heated dry was a non issue for us and dishes are typically dry when cycle is finished. Overall I do recommend, assuming the odor is not a deal breaker for you.

This dishwasher is beyond phenomenal. I knew the claims of not having to rinse dishes but I’ve never been able to do that with any dishwasher so was hesitant. Finally I decided to put it to the test. I had 4 bread pans that had sat on the counter for 2 days. I threw them in as is with everything else and ran the dishwasher. No lie, sparkling clean. I tested this multiple times with the same amazing results every time. My family got annoyed with me because I would insist on no rinsing of any dish before loading. Same sparking results. I was diligent about cleaning/rinsing the filter and wiping the seal. Sadly I only got to use this for a couple years before we sold our home. Those new owners have no clue what they scored. My rental has a sucky GE that supposedly is top of the line. I have to pre wash everything and it still doesn’t come out clean. And it makes annoying noises while running. Most of the time I wash by hand because I can do a better job with a sink full of soapy water. Plus the GE dishwasher smells bad in spite of my diligence in rinsing filters. I cannot wait to own a home again. A Bosch dishwasher is non negotiable for me. I would never own anything else again.

BEST DISHWASHER EVER!!! It's so quiet we can barely tell its running. Gets the dishes spotless. Top rack is amazing. It is a long cycle, but set it before bed and wake up to beautifully clean dishes every time!

Love the stainless steel feature, very sleek in my newly updated kitchen. The most quiet model we've had to date! Plenty of room for all the dirty dishes.

It is so quiet and cleans all dishes very well. The top rack is so handy for large cooking utensils. the dishwasher was worth the money!!!

Quiet and efficient, this Bosch dishwasher puts my old dishwasher to shame. Dishes are reliably clean and dry. The third rack has been great to have. A lot easier to load and unload. The only negative is that there is difficulty in loading a large frying pan I have, otherwise it would be 5 stars. It is a great dishwasher so far.

Very quite, 6 cycle washer with delay timer. So far the dishes are coming out very clean. The outer stainless steel finish is not very shiny, so if you plan to buy this dishwasher, you need to buy other appliance of compatible finish. I wish it had a dryer. It is a bit more expensive than other dishwashers that do the same job.

Extremely quiet, more so than the "quiet" 15-year-old Bosch it replaced. Cleans very well, numerous rack options. Be sure to check for all attachments. Mine was missing the spray attachment required when you remove the top rack.

I researched for 2 months all types of dishwashers and even with consumer reports. This was in the top 5. I looked in multiple places for where to buy. Best Buy had a great price as well. This machines gets my plastic tupperware dry!!!. That was a key item for me. Its quite, not too easy to set the settings at first but keep the manual handy and you'll get the hang of it. easy to load and the dishes come out clean and spotless. We'll see how the quality is over time Its one of the reasons we went with Bosch as well... We have had it for one month so far it is great..
