Finding a quality slide in range is hard to find and especially a five burner after a long search we came to this model as it received favorable marks across the boRd we are very satisfied and would recommend to a friend.

*** DANGEROUS *** GARBAGE *** AVOID AVOID AVOID We bought this as part of our kitchen renovation, and it nearly burned down our house. Bosch replaced with another new unit that doesn't even work. We finally got our new kitchen running with our shiny new Bosch 800 gas range. Shortly into use, the oven was running standard convection bake at 350 degrees and something internal caught fire. The unit did lock itself until the fire went out, which did impress the fire department. Bosch sent a tech a week later who declared the obvious that the unit needed to be replaced. Weeks later Bosch delivered and installed a new replacement unit. They installed the unit while I was working from home on video meetings, and they left. When I finally got around to checking out the install I was surprised to see that a. they had scratched up my new quartz counters while installing, and better yet, that the unit was clearly showing an error code and was not operational! More weeks have passed while Bosch gives us corporate double talk about deciding what they will do! FIVE WEEKS have passed and we can not cook for our children with this expensive and shiny piece of garbage (quite literal). After damaging our home, nearly burning down our home, ruining our new kitchen, they are still deciding what to do. Save money and buy something else that may actually work!
