Best Bosch stove

The fifth burner is a bonus, the grates are easy to move and clean, the burners kick out the heat. The storage drawer at the bottom opens with the touch of your toe, and it also serves as a warming drawer. I think they’re discontinuing this model, which is a shame. Oh, and I love the edge counter lip that keeps crumbs from falling down between the stove and counter.

Got it just before thanksgiving 2019 and everything turned out amazing! Very easy to keep clean. Switched from a glass stove to gas and it is so much easier to keep clean!!! Love it! Cannot recommend enough to get this stove if you are in the market for a new gas stove! Well built, solid quality product. Bosch does not disappoint!

First off, it’s simply stunning to look at. The range is streamlined, brilliantly laid out and a joy to cook on. The digital display is flawless and both the convection and the gas oven are amazingly efficient. Overall an A++

I use it almost every day so far everything works fine. The instrument panel is very touchy and I keep it in the locked position Most of the time.

Q: QuestionIf the cutout width is 30" and the appliance width is 31.5", doesn't that imply that the appliance is wider than the cut out? How does that work?

- A:Answer The range will slide into a 30" opening with a 36" high countertop that is 25 1/4" deep. The only thing that is 31 1/2" wide are the side flanges that go over the top of the countertop and the top front face of the range which sticks out beyond the countertops front edge.

Q: QuestionMy new 800 series slide-in gas range has an extremely annoying cooling fan that comes on during bake mode. It is loud, distracting and sounds like a vacumn cleaner with a modulating whine. Is this normal?

Q: QuestionCan you explain why you only need a 30" wide cut out if the appliance is 31.5"? Does the range increase in width at some point?

- A:Answer Hi Violet, thank you for your question. Model:HGI8056UC fits in a standard 30 inch cutout. It has a width of 30 inches across the body of the range and is 31 1/2 inches in width at the top of the range. The reason for this is the slide-in design, which covers your countertops on the sides of the cooktop so that there is no spillage down the sides. This also gives the range a built-in look.

- A:Answer Standard Cabinets are 35.5 high which is fine - The lip @ the top will need your counter tops to be cut @ an angle - I've attached our installed pics.
