The sound is great for my new 65" TV. It is much better than a sound bar.

Great speakers with just a couple of complaints

I bought the Bose Cinemate 15 mainly because, as with most flat screens, the sound was lacking. The sound is great, especially with Blu-ray and music. Clear dialogue and sound effects from the soundbar and excellent bass response from the subwoofer. No distortion at loud volumes, which is a major plus. The remote itself was excellent, too. It's the first aftermarket remote I've found that works every aspect of my cable box dvr. I only have 2 minor complaints. One is the system can only be operated by remote. No external buttons on the soundbar, with the exception of the bass knob on the subwoofer. If you were to lose or break the remote, you'd have to get a new one to operate it. Secondly, it would've been nice to have a way to adjust the treble on the speakers. I prefer a slight bit more treble than what these speakers put out. Overall, though, the sound is still spectacular and I plan on keeping it. It delivers an amazing movie sounding experience for such a small footprint. Though it's not true surround sound, the technology does a great job at simulating it with its two front drivers and two side drivers. It is a little pricey, in my opinion, but it is Bose, after all. Solidly built and great technology.

Hello all, So this little thing delivers sounds that others simply cant! I went with the Solo 15 II series at first. I was amazed by how low profile it was and still added a lot of sound to my Sony Bravia 4k. Then I went to Bose.com and saw the Cinemate15 on sale for 499 so I rushed to Best Buy and returned the Solo 15 and got the Cinemate 15 and took it home. For 100 dollars more I think its worth the money to get the Cinemate 15 over the Solo, Great thing about it is that both are very low profile but it delivers sounds that others just cant not in this price range. The sound from Bose is simply more refined in any level. Very clear high notes and the bass well Acustimas delivers it. There is a fine-tuned balance between the two that it simply just sounds great! For 500 dollars this is a steal (on sale)! Compared to the other Bose series that go well above 2500 or 3000? Well...needless to say...Yes it is worth every penny! Get it!

Big sound from a little sound bar

First I want to start with is what system is not. It is not a surround sound system. To expect it to be so is unrealistic. So what is this system? It is a very impressive sound bar and subwoofer. Prior to purchasing this system I researched several different systems (including the Sonos) and decided to get the Bose Cinemate 15. Previously we had been using the built in speakers on our flat screen TV. After verifying the connection types, set up of this system was extremely easy. One digital optical cable (included) and the 2 permanently attached cables plugged in to the subwoofer and the power cord was it. Immediately we realized how much sound we had been missing. Yes, there is no equalizer or changing the tone but with the richness of the sound you wouldn't want to. The remote was super easy to program and within 5 to 10 minutes it was programmed to operate our TV, DirecTV box, and Blu-Ray player as well as preprogrammed for the sound bar. We have stopped using all of our other remotes. The two things I would like to see improved on is for the buttons to light up and for an open/close button for the Blu-Ray player. These are so minor that I did not take any stars away for it. Overall I'm extremely pleased with this system and highly recommend it.

The system is good but, the remote is terrible. The only thing the large remote will do is control the volume and power on the system and nothing else.

    EXCELLENT PRODUCT

I've been looking to replace my Samsung 2.1 with a more powerful system for quite a while now, but between a family budget, and space limitation, I was hard pressed to find a product that could satisfy both. After seeing/hearing this on display in-store, and not too mention the sale price prior to the holiday's, I had to take advantage of this purchase. As far as performance, do not under-estimate it's pint size sound bar, you will be amazed how such a clutter free, compact setup could output such robust, clear and spacious sound. The sub-woofer does not disappoint either, providing the right amount of clear bass when needed, whether it be low or high volume viewing. And the sound detail normally missed or mashed together through your t.v. speaker, or in this case my Samsung 2.1, will want you to watch your favorite t.v. series or movie(s) all over again, guaranteed! In a nut shell, if your looking for a Home Theater product without the extra wires, speakers, receiver, expense, etc....this is a must have!!!

Perfect soundbar for a small house

I bought this sound bar because of of the minimal set-up requires as well as minimal space needed to set it up. For something so small this thing packs one heck of a punch. I have a small house and it projects perfectly throughout. The sound qualities on the highs and lows are incredible. The only downside was having to buy the BT adaptor to use it as a whole home system with my laptop and other devices but it was a small price to pay for so much punch in such a small package. The combination simplicity and quality are unmatched.

Bose is still trying hard to corner the market, but misfired with this one. Unless you've going to drop a grand on speakers, go with a different brand.

This soundbar is complete trash. I installed this in my master bedroom and it was worse than the TV speakers. The only thing that made it better than the TV speakers was that it had a subwoofer so you can hear the bass. The soundbar itself was a complete mockery of Bose products. I would rather purchase any entry level Samsung soundbar over this Bose soundbar.
