I have used numerous models of noise canceling headphones in all different environments, including the previous model of the Bose QC. The QC25 are definitely a step above anything else that I have used. Cannot recommend these highly enough!

I bought these for my daughter so she could study in quiet at college. She says they work great and uses them daily.

I am a frequent flyer. For a long time did not want to use headphones because I was scare they will harm my ear drums. But the engine noise and the crying baby onboard let me to try a cheap set. My son let me borrow his Bose earphones for a flight to LA., that did it. I purchased mine within days after my return.

Thought about buying these for years and balked at the cost. Big mistake - these are worth every penny. Perfect for travelling (planes & trains), great at the office to shut out extraneous noise. Great at home when I want to listen to music without distraction. Yes, they're not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

I'll be honest: I don't normally write reviews. The QC-25 sound quality is not what I expected. I've been using Bose headphones since the QC-2. Sound quality was excellent, noise cancellation good. Unfortunately, those broke and I got a pair of QC-15s. Again, those had excellent sound quality and noise reduction. Those succumbed to the static problems the 15s are notorious for. After much searching and reading reviews, I settled on the QC-25. While the noise cancellation is superb as always, sound quality leaves a lot to be desired. They are bass heavy. I listen to a rather eclectic mix of music. Orchestral is muddy at best. Electronica and new age so bottom heavy you cannot listen at a reasonable level without getting thumped out. Forget trying to listen to pipe organ. You might as well be underwater. Yes, I have them turned on. I know about that. I am well beyond the return point so I guess I am stuck. One other thing and this is either on Best Buy or USPS: they were delivered two days after the original delivery date and a signature not required.

I travel a lot for my job. These headphones are great on the plane. Especially if you are trying to get work done or rest.

Told my wife I didn't want to try them because I already knew I was going to by them, but would not spend that kind of money. But totally worth it. Best phones ever. No joke. On a plane between the engine and a baby listening to Willie Nelson nestle me to sleep good. Try them last you won't buy any other pair.

The sound quality is the same but the older version was easier to get out of the case and use these require unfolding and plugging in I'd would tell people to buy the older version even though they are more bulky to carry

I love these headphones! So glad I spent the money and can't wait to use them for my flight to Europe! Great bass!

Headphone works great and the sound is awesome, the noise cancelling is great in blocking outside noise. That option can also be turn off, which is a plus when you might need to hear what's going on around you. It also comes with a case to carry it anywhere. Good product for the price.

I got these for a flight over sea's and they worked fabulous. I mean i could barely hear the engine noise had to be shaken up by the flight attendant to get ready for landing and they sound great as well for movie watching

I got these headphones to replace my old Quiet Comfort 2's. I had them for about 15 years and they were excellent for their time. But these new ones are amazing! When I flipped the switch I couldn't even hear the wife talking!. The sound is tremendous. The noise cancelling is years ahead of the old ones.

I purchased the headset to listen to music using noise cancellation during driving as well as on airplanes. The bonus use was when I realized I should use it on the plane even when I don't listen to something on an airplane as the noise cancellation removed the significant amount of airplane and car noise.

Bose lives up to their reputation! Love the product and now we each have our own and won't have to share one set.

Sounds great but does need a lot of juice from the batteries to operate in noise cancelling mode.

I travel on airplanes weekly so I've gone through many pairs of noise cancellation headphones. These are by far the best. They filter out more background noise and the sound quality of the speakers beats Sony and audio Technica soundly. I also like the nifty way they fold flat.

They are Bose what else needs to be said :) They keep the outside noise quite, the best I have every seen, and the music sounds great. I don't care for the inline mic, does not seem to work that well :(

Bought for a gift, definitely a hit. Great sound, comfortable and no bluetooth required for old gadgets!

Great for air travel, great sound, I highly recommend for great listening.
