Excellent sound, the battery lasts longer than I imagined, easy to link to devices. I like that the devices find it and turn it on automatically even if it is off

I've had my eye on this speaker for a while now.
I did my research and listened to other products, so when this went on sale, I jumped on it. Bose makes some of the best speakers I have ever heard. The sound on this is beautiful. The round design makes it perfect to hear the same quality sound around the room in any spot. The bass and sound clarity are amazing. The size including the attached handle makes this very portable to take anywhere. I would recommend this speaker anyone.

This speaker has great sound and battery life. The portability is nice, too, without being too small.
This is not a smart speaker. I considered the smart speaker model, but 1) smart speakers are always listening (LOL) and 2) I think that the smart speaker would be connected to only my own music streaming accounts and no one else's in the household, but I may be wrong. So, I think this speaker is a great alternative for quality sound at home without the smart speaker. It easily connects to multiple phones/devices and plays your music of preference.

Bose doesn’t disappoint- this was anotger great item. Shipping was lightning fast. The sound is amazing. Great bass & trenle. Easy connection to the bose spp. love tgat this can be mounted on a stand. Did comparison’s to otger bose speakers as well as competitors and the bose had better dound than all of them including a B&O portable speaker. Highly recommend this dpeaker as well as The charging dock

Sound:The amount of bass you get out of a speaker this size is rather impressive and feels rich
Battery:at least 16 hours of sporadic use before it asks for some ,charge it about 3 times a full week. The build quality of this is great and I love the aluminum. It is very durable

Awesome little speaker. Deep base. Great treble. My wife played in an orchestra and says it sounds like being there. My wife cried when she listened to Yo Yo Ma on this little guy. Also very nice that you can put it in the middle of the room and no matter where you go the sound is full and loud. Only downside is the micro usb charger. I bought a charging cradle to overcome this issue.

This speaker has the BEST quality sound I have heard since I used to listen to my Bose 901 speakers. It is truly amazing for this size a speaker. The BASS is absolutely perfect as well. Sounds like a unit about 10 times the size. i love the automatic charging with the base I purchased as well and the length of time the charge holds is like 18 plus hours at fairly high volumes.

Excellent sound quality, the battery can last up to 18 hours with a continuous use volume of 40%, it provides good bass and incorporates you into the music as if you were listening from a home theater

The design is simple and sleek. The size is oerfect for a room or garage. Although a bit heavier still perfect for a small setting like my offive but still good enough for a little backyard cookout. Super easy connectivity and user friendly.

Fantastic speaker! The Bass, the acoustics, the treble, the sound levels are really high quality and it makes music - instruments and voices sound amazing. The cylindrical structure of the speaker spreads the sound waves evenly - no matter where you place it.
I’m a 34 year old that loves portable speakers. From ghettoblasters to a compact cd/cassette boombox to portable Bluetooth speakers - I know a lot about radios / speakers / receivers. This one is special for its sound quality alone. BOSE really made a good one here. The handle is good. The battery life is very reasonable.
Connect from your phone/ laptop/ pad through Bluetooth or plug in through an AUX input. Yes - this thing still has an AUX input. Although not used by many - to those who use it daily find it invaluable. This will probably be the last model to have that feature.
Great speaker! Worth every dollar!!

I recently got the Revolve+ II less than a week ago and boy, I should've saved my money. This whole speaker is a huge disappointment from start to finish. When I first bought it, I was happy to have another Bose portable speaker. My first one I had was far ahead of its time, so I was excited to get my hands on a new model 12 years later. Initially, I enjoyed it but that was pure brand blindness. I was so blinded by it being a Bose, that I didn't realize how bad it was until I really started taking a closer look at it. To start off, I was expecting for this speaker to work in the Bose App as every other product I own from Bose does. It does not. Wasn't too upset about this initially, but when I wanted to I customize my sound and add more bass, that's when I missed it. Which leads me to my next point, it has virtually no bass at all. Normally this wouldn't be a problem if I could adjust a setting to add more but nope, can't do that. Moving past the lackluster bass, the sound doesn't have that Bose touch that's become a sort of midas touch, if you will. When I think Bose, I think crisp and clear audio balanced and engineered perfectly. While it still sounds nice, it's not "Bose nice." Before this, I had a JBL Charge 4 and it doesn't blow the Revolve+ II out of the water, but it is better; if nothing else the fact that it actually has nice bass puts it above the Revolve+ II. In my mind, there's no reason why I should even be comparing JBL to Bose. So just as I'm thinking that it was time to say goodbye to the Revolve+ II I think, "Wait! I can use it to group up with my Smart Speaker 500! That'll be cool!" And it was! You can actually kinda customize the group sounds in the app and how loud each speaker is individually. However, grouping them up that one time was the worst mistake I made and it's the reason I'll be returning my Revolve + II. Every. Single. Time. I turn the Revolve on, it automatically groups up with my Smart Speaker 500. The best part is, there's no way to un-group them in the app. So I have to go into the app and un-group them every time I power my speaker on. To be fair, there are a couple things this speaker does well.
Pros:
-speaker and phone connection is instantaneous when powered on.
-the buttons are inside crevices and there are raised indentations on one of the buttons, that really helps in the dark.
-they included a handle. This makes it much easier to carry.
-the handle isn't a hard rigid material, it's like a stiff mesh rope. I didn't think I'd like it but they do it well.
-the speaker can get really loud if you want it to.
-it has an auxiliary port, a rare find these days.
-being able to group it with another Bose is cool for the first time you use it.
However it's shortcomings far outweigh its strengths.
-very user unfriendly (no app control, and contestant grouping to another speaker every time it's turned on)
-sound quality is decent but definitely not up to par with the Bose brand, in my opinion.
-no decent bass, borderline none at all.
-the top of the speaker's material feels cheap. I get that it's supposed to withstand impact better, but that kinda leads me to my next point...
-it's easy to tip over. The way it's designed causes it to be top heavy. They've done their best with weighing down the bottom, but it's still easy to accidentally tip it over. Which leads me to my next point...
-it's a relatively heavy speaker. I mean it's not gonna weigh you down if you pack it up in a bag of some sort but I wouldn't feel comfortable carrying it by hand without using the handle.
- I personally am not a fan of the design. The whole 360° sound thing seems like more of a gimmick than a selling point. In my opinion, it causes some of the sound clarity and crispness to be lost.
-it still uses a micro-USB rather than a type C. I know this one is more subjective but I feel like when I pay for a Bose, I should get cutting edge technology. Micro-USB is starting to fade out, so it feels old.
-there's no kind of splash protection around the charging port or auxiliary port. I know that doesn't necessarily go with Bose's design style of sleek and smooth, but I feel like it'd be a nice touch. I can't speak for everyone but I like to use my Bluetooth speakers for when I shower. It doesn't put my mind at ease knowing there's no type of water guard on the charging port. I know better than to actually put it in the shower with me but with all that steam in the air, over time that may cause problems that'll occur coincidentally just outside the warranty dates. Relatively minor thing, but that's what I pay a premium for: the minor things.
-my final and biggest complaint is that it's overpriced. This doesn't feel like a Bose product, but my wallet definitely felt it. Why would I spend $350 on a speaker when it has this many shortcomings? That was one of my complaints with the Smart Speaker 500, was that I felt like I was paying for a name. It was worth it for the Smart Speaker 500, but it's not even close for the Revolve+ II. I can get better sound and better element protection from a $150 speaker over this $350 speaker.
In conclusion, if you're reading this, just don't buy it. Save yourself the time and money and go get something else, you'll thank me later.
However, I am going to give Bose another shot at redemption. I'll be promptly returning this and getting the Portable Smart Speaker for about $80 more. I'll be sure to review that as well.
Hey there, I'm sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the performance of the SoundLink Revolve + II and have decided to return it. Just to make you aware, the SoundLink Revolve + II is able to connect to the Bose Connect application which allows some personalisation of the settings. Thanks! Kerri - Bose Customer Support

Very decent sound for what it is! Small form factor, long battery life. If you place it strategically it dramatically enhances the sound as well. (corners, in the sink if you're taking a bath, etc. It needs walls to reverb off of for deeper bass)
I purchased this because when we played a lot of beach volleyball, I heard many different "beach speakers" and none was as good as the bose. It was generally set up in a reusable grocery bag to protect it from dust and sand, but it carried extremely well.
4/5 because I do not adore the sound quality. There is a constant hum that is a bit annoying. When something is playing constantly (ie: music and most other content) it is not noticable as it is masked by the other sound. Sometimes it becomes apaprent though.
BUT it is what it is; it's LOUD sound and decent bass in a tiny form factor. Everyone knows audio is a balancing act.
I would not use this as my primary speaker, but it wasn't designed for that. It is lovely for outdoor gatherings and outdoor activities, or places you cannot traditionally put a higher quality speaker.
Buy it for the right use cases and you will not be disappointed :)

Easy to link up to any blue tooth device. Has a rich clean sound and is very portable. Used it on a vacation to Florida and only had to change it once in 10 days.

I love this speaker! This is my second one! It has big bold sound, and is super easily transportable! I am looking forward to sinking of the two speakers together because I think my house will definitely rock out! It hold a charge beautifully! I really great face! And waterproof!…. so great to take to the beach!
