    Latest update loses much Internet Radio capability

    I received my Bose Wave SoundTouch Music System IV yesterday and am seriously considering returning it. FM radio reception is excellent, as is the sound, hence the two stars, but I learned during setup that the latest update, #20, drops vTuner in favor of TuneIn, rendering my favorite station 97Five inaccessible. From memory, update #20 release notes say something like "Say hello to TuneIn, goodbye to Internet Radio". Unfortunately, I had no alternative but to apply the latest update when I had issues with Windows 10 not recognizing the SoundTouch USB connection, which is required for setup using a desktop. The update cured the USB issue, but took away vTuner. From the many complaints in the Bose Community site from around the world, I am not alone. I have doubts that the improvement promised by Bose for January, 2019 will completely restore previous functionality and believe that I may have bought an expensive bedside radio.

    Older Bose models sound a lot better

    Fair sound quality...had a previous model, but wanted to upgrade for Bluetooth capability. Took it out of box to set up for a party about two weeks later. Speakers are just too small to provide wide sound quality. No way to really adjust sound quality. Just past return time- and cannot return. NOT worth the hefty price.

Fortunately, your Wave system is SoundTouch enabled and can be set up as part of a network.     I am very disappointed with my purchase. the reception for the am and fm radio is the worst. I have a 20.00 am and fm alarm clock radio that get better reception without static.

    Bought to play music from Alexa through the Bose Wave Radio. Bose does not support the Alexa system and will not stay connected via bluetooth to any Alexa, Echo Dot, etc. Bought the Sonos system and it provides excellent connection via WiFi, easy to install, activate & connect. LOVE Sonos! Goodbye Bose.....

    Heard a friend’s Bose radio 7 yrs ago and was blown away! This was so underwhelming I had to return it. Had better sound out of other brands. Disappointing because I was hoping to have that same sound

    After 6 months of debating I purchased the Wave. I also purchased Alexa. The sounds were not what I was expecting. Keep the Bose keep Alexa??? I kept Alexa and saved $ 500.00 It was a No brainer.

    If you add Bose wireless speakers you can’t play cd’s to them. I took this back because I was told differently. Had to buy dif brand. Love the sound but now lacking in technology

    I thought it would be a lot louder than it was. My Aiwa stereo does the same and I think it might even be louder and more base
