sounds great, no rattling noise, and small so you can hide it anywhere.

Very controlled and deep bass. Using the sub for low octave reinforcement for 2 channel music system. Surprisingly good - internal crossover very functional. Plays louder and cleaner than expected for such a compact enclosure with a 10" driver powered by a 200W digital amp. Highly recommended.

I have many other high end speakers, in my home theater system but this was my first B&W. After a month of listening to music as well as tv/movies, I'm thoroughly impressed and satisfied with my purchase! The sub has a very powerful feel and sounds crisp and clear with all types of listening.

I purchased this subwoofer as part of my home theatre speaker system as an open-box item (I received the same warranty as a new one). The overall quality of the sound is top of the line. Having an open floor plan and descent size family room, I thought that it would not suffice.. Boy was I wrong.. This not only met my expectation, but surpassed them as well. Couldn't be happier with the product and price that I paid for it. Recommend not only this subwoofer but any B&W product..

Got this as a demo model at a considerable discount. Super tight bass. Rattles the walls. War of The Worlds is INSANE! Best Buy employees, unfortunately, are not very knowledgeable and sometimes borderline rude. Didn't help experience. Price made up for it! This is a high-quality piece of equipment. 5 stars for subwoofer. Zero stars for Best Buy customer service.

This Sub completes my B&W 685 S2 set. It's connected in 2.1 setup. At first I didn't purchase the sub but the bookshelf speaker lacked depth(they are excellent speakers I just have a very large room). Bottom line the sub is exactly what I needed and it works perfectly with any type of music.

This has not disappointed at all. I have paired it with a pair of Model 1C Vandersteens as well as some small Monitor book shelves. Shocking clarity not just a rumble. Of course I got it as a demo for $600 which helped me lower my expectations just a tad. :)

The sound is very rich and really brings to life the action on the tv.

This subwoofer sounds amazing. Very good low notes. I use for music but mainly movies. My whole house shakes

I purchased the 10" B&W sub for a medium sized room (15x15) to be used primarily as low frequency (<38 hz) sound reinforcement for a pair of B&W CM8's. I listen to a broad variety of music in stereo and some home theater in a 5.1 speaker configuration. From classical to Dub Step, the sub performed well even when pushed very hard. It produces clean, tight bass even at concert levels. The unit's protection circuitry did engage at one point when listening to DeadMous5 at extreme levels but it was more as a stress test than anything you would encounter in everyday listening levels. Overall it is a great complement to the B&W CM8s. Very happy with the purchase.

I have two bookshelf speakers and they did not produce the boom that I was looking for. I latched onto this B&W Sub and have been booming every since.

I got this to go with my B&W 685's. I was not disappointed! This completely changed my home theater system and truly shows you the next level in home theater sound. The sub adds so much depth to my movies and music and gives you goosebumps for epic movie scenes and soaring sound tracks.
