I am using this in my 2008 Mazda MX-5 Miata. The suction device did not 'stick' on the rough stock dash. Fortunately I have fixed vent windows (the little triangular windows on the doors that don't move for the younger crowd) . The suction device works really well on the glass...and I like it better than in the middle of the dash. Good magnet holds my iPhone 6 in a wallet case and my work iPhone 5 in an Otterbox (one at a time of course) safely even normal closing the door.

Bought for work truck. Base sticks like it was welded on and it has never dropped my phone no matter how rough a ride. Metal plate does add a bit of weight but is otherwise unobtrusive. Excellent product!

Pro's - Suction cup is stickier than most which allows it to work on surfaces other than glass - Good range of motion and adjustment - If the suction cup gets dirty you can clean it with water and a microfiber towel to make it sticky again - Uses a magnet to hold your phone in place Con's - While it does stick to surfaces other than glass if they are not perfectly clean it can fall off - If you don't have a case on your phone that the metal plate can go in, their solution is to use adhesive to stick a medal plate to your phone Other Thoughts As far as universal window mounts go, this one is better than most. I like that you don't have to fight with adjustable clamps or anything. The suction cup is handy because it's made out of a sticky material so it will work on most dashboards. It's a little expensive for what it is, but that's kind of how all of these things are.

One of the guys from work had told me about this cell phone stand and I decided to check one out. The stand is very sturdy and I dont have to worry about my device falling off of it. Because of the design of this stand it is not limited to just cell phones. I received two back plates with this stand, which I thought was pure genius on the part of marketing. Of course the first time my wife borrowed my car and got to use it, I mysteriously "lost" my stand and had to purchase a new one for my car. Interestingly enough, she now has one in her car that looks suspiciously like mine...lol I gave the product 4 of 5 stars because of the mount. It's a suction cup for the windshield. Now this suction is of superior design and it's very sticky. Once it's in place you don't have to worry about it falling. I just prefer a mount that utilizes one of the cup holders and I have not found one for this mounting option yet. Overall, this has been a very well made and reliable cell phone stand. I love how easy it is to turn my phone sideways on it.

I wanted something that would handle a multitude of devices in my jeep-especially since my latest phone upgrade was an iPhone 6+ which just won't for on other cradles. . I've tried, and abandoned, many different universal vehicle cradles-this one really is a keeper. Why? The clever use of a powerful magnet, and super-thin, yet very effective metal squares which easily fit between your phone and most (if not all) cell phone cases/covers allows you to mount a phone while still in the case--and remove it easily. Initially, I was skeptical about the efficacy of a magnet, especially in a jeep that spends a good bit of time off-road. A completely unexpected bonus was the amazing quality of the sticky suction cup that attaches it to a vehicle. Most I've tried require curved glass or clean, smooth metal. This one has successfully mounted on glass, dashboards...even the textured inside of my jeeps hardtop!! No kidding. They provide a selection of these metal plates so switching devices is so easy. The only con, really is that it costs more than most phone/gps cradle...but if you want something that really works-you can't go wrong here.

This is a sturdy well made dash mount. It doesn't stick as well as I would have hoped to my dash. Sticks very well to glass and slick surfaces and holds very well. The magnet is strong but not overpowering.

This bracket is great for anyone who wants their phone to remain in place while driving. The magnet is strong enough to hold my Samsung Note 5 through the Otterbox phone case and the suction cup mount is very secure. The only (minor) down side is that you can't wirelessly charge your phone because of the magnet that sits between the phone and case.

Although it was a little bit on the expensive side, this dash mount is worth every penny. Very sturdy design and strong magnet hold my phone securely in place, even on bumpy roads. Extremely handy and keeps my phone in an easy to view location, which is perfect when using my phone as a GPS.

`This a great phone storage device. The magnet is strong enough for the note 4 and note 5 that I use. The suction cut sticks well to the textured dash board. The only draw back is the plate interferes with the wireless charging on the Note 5.

Attaching the secondary adhesive metal plate to the back of the phone with out the case was not enticing. However it is a perfect mount for those with phone cases, you can easily slide the metal piece behind it. The phone is extremely easy to place and remove when entering/exiting the vehicle. Installing it was easy and the light stickiness combined with the suction latch makes a very strong bond to the windshield (bought one for wifes car also, and it works just as well attaching to the dashboard). The magnet is extremely strong, able to take a 40 degree curve at 50mph without it ejecting from the mount. Best mount of the types and brands that I tried.

I bought this Bracketron Earth Elementals Universal Dash mount to replace a different phone mount that broke not one week after I bought it. I chose this one because my roommate and I have different phones (iPhone & Android), and I wanted something that we could both use. I am loving this thing! You just hold your phone close to the mount, and BOOM! You're ready to roll. Installation is super easy. Clean the area, place the suction cup, flip the switch on the back down, and you're good to go. It comes with metal plates that you stick to the back of your phone. Super slim and easy to use with a phone case. It has a tiny clip to hold your phone's USB cord for easy access. The flip-down feet help keep your phone steady and secure on the mount. The magnet is really strong, but the constant vibrations from the car will eventually cause your phone to fall off the mount if you don't use the flip-down feet. I've been using this mount for a least a couple of months and I have no complaints. Do be aware that if it gets too hot in your car, the mount will come loose from the dash. I'm not sure there's anything to be done about that, but since it's so freakin' easy to put the mount back on the dash, I don't consider it a big deal. My roommate like mine so much, he bought one for his car. I would definitely buy another one of these if this one ever breaks.

I bought this based on the recommendation of the best buy employee because the one I had originally ordered was out f stock. Well let me just say I'm happy it worked out that way! This was easy to install on my windshield, although you had the option to place on your dash as well. It holds my phone with ease. It has never fallen off even on the bumpiest roads. It's easy to take your phone off the cradle... There are no cumbersome closures on the sides. All in all I am beyond happy with this product and recommend it to anyone who needs a phone cradle.

It's great, I would give it 5 stars, but sometimes it falls off the dash. Luckyily it sticks back on because of the suction cup. It has made my driving so much easier and wish I would have bought it sooner. It was easy to install and set up. Definitely would recommend this product!

Never would have thought I would need a mount for my phone in the car. On a recent trip from Minnesota to Illinois realized that this is something that be handy. Went to Best Buy and was immediately helped by one associate and joined by another associate to help pick one out. I highly recommend this model and note that you do not have to attach the magnet to your phone. just leave magnet in between your case and phone. I have a 6S and it holds this very securely!!! Love it! After seeing the result, the friend I was visiting out-of-state went and bought one for her iPhone 7 plus! Holds hers great!

I purchased this cell phone mount for my car. This product is awesome, it allows your cell phone to be mounted and readily available without using your hands. I mount my phone as soon as I get into my car and use Siri on my iPhone to get directions. It's like having a gps! It's also great for talking info on the phone while driving, simply use your speaker phone and talk hands free while you're driving. Overall, excellent product!!

I really like this dash mount, it seems to hold to the dashboard really well. It uses a magnet to attach the phone to the stand. It made the cover on my Samsung bulge out in the back but did not affect anything.

It took a while but we finally put this on the dashboard of the car. If you can look past the somewhat confusing directions and packaging, it is easy to install and appears to work very well !!! Our dashboard has limited places to use this but all you need is about a square inch-and-a-half and it rotates in all directions to provide excellent viewing. There is a magnet you put in between the cell phone case and the cell phone (one of the 3 recommended installations). That is how it sticks to the Bracketron. Recommend you leave that magnet attached to the Bracketron when you leave the car to avoid carrying it around all the time. Accidental credit card erasure in purse could happen because it is a VERY strong magnet. Wow.

This thing is classy and it works extremely well. I put it on my window and the suction cup has never fallen off. Its all magnets so you put a magnet inside your battery case and then u just put the phone against the magnet attached to the mount. I tried the vent one as well and it didnt work very well so took it back and got this... i would def recommend it to a friend.

This product is easy to set up. I've had it for a few months now and it still works great. The magnet is strong and metal plate is invisible under my otter box case. I have the pixel with defender case. I put the plate on the hard plastic in-between the cover. The suction cup has a strong hold if used on a smooth, clean surface (window or dashboard) My only complain is it did not hold on the textured part of my dashboard.
