I used this product for 3 months and not satisfied. TheGrip to the dash mount is not so firm. Though the phone grip is firm. It has a strong magnet which holds the phone. Not so great product.

I use my iPhone 6S with Google Maps for my GPS when I travel. This mount is simple and small to pack away. Mounting on the air vent has always been the perfect visual location while I drive. Stays in place firmly. Holds the phone on the rubberized magnetic mount securely. One caution. When the vent is blowing cold air, no problem for the phone. But if you have hot air blowing during the winter months, you can cook your phone to death. Not that it ever happened to a smart guy like me. So if you need heat just have it on the floor and not from the vent to be safe.

Perfect for using on long car rides. Hooks and stays in place. My GS7 phone was already magnetic so I didn't need to use the plates that this came with. But if I needed it to be more secured, I can easily place the metal plates for more security with any device.

It's perfect it's sit's away from the heat it has a shelf for extra security and the magnet works great, easily adjusted.

I love this product! It is simple and easy to set up and use. I just put my phone there and go with no worries of my phone going anywhere. Also great for when I need to use my GPS!

First off if your vents move easily by themselves as in if you hit a bump or after a while of driving you notice them at a lower position then before your vents will not hold the weight of the phone and mount. Now this mount holds the phone solid. I drive a 2004 Audi A4 and own a Samsung S5. I mounted the magnet back to the hard protective cover a purchased for my phone. When you slap your phone on the mount it stays. The only thing you have to remember to do is slide your phone off do not pull or you will just pull the mount out of your vent. The top brackets that slide onto the vent slats rotate so if you have round vents this mount will work. It also has the bottom base kick stand so it will not bounce around while driving. So great product I like it cause its not in my window and if you don't have a smooth surface dash to mount other products this is the one for you. I will by another one for my truck so don't have to keep moving back and forth between vehicles.

Since I travel, having a decent mount for the car is nice. This is compact, comes apart easily for packing. The magnet works well even fits inside the cases on 2 separate phones. Positive about it being attached to the vent for the car when charging and GPS running/Screen on it keeps it nice and cool during the summer with the AC going, winter time might be more of an issue of keeping the device cool. Only downside is sometimes the clip depending on the car doesn't stay nicely on the vent in the car.

This bracket holder for cellular phones is just what I needed for hands free operation. Attach your ear buds and you're set to go. The bracket with the clips are too weak and flimsy, but if you put it on and attach it with some plastic tie-downs to where you want it situated, the magnet, which you attach to the back of your phone makes it stay put and easy to take off. It's nothing fancy but will do the job and makes it easier to answer your phone.

I bought this smartphone mobile mount for use while on vacation and for the few times I might need it while driving my wife's car. It is very easy to attach to the vent louvers of her car. The magnet is very strong; the mount does not rattle, shake or give any indication that it's going to fall off.

I bought this phone mount for my car after trying a different style that did not work in my car at all. I really like the ease and convenience of the magnet to hold the phone onto the base. The mount did pull off the vent a couple of times before I figured out how to seat it properly, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 - but overall, a great design and a good value.

Holds up decent and looms sleek. The magnet is really strong and has a separate tile of 2 sizes for what you see fit. Better yet, you can put it under your phone case or stick it behind it so you don't have to see your actual phone with it. It clips on fine and has helped me so far.

Previously had a vacuum stick on type which would not stay either on the dash or windshield. This easily clips to the air vents and stays there. I was worried about the magnet holding the cell phone tight enough but it seems to work over a few bumpy roads. Satisfied.

I purchased this and one other similar product at the same time. The other product was a Logitech version. The magnet used with the Bracketron product is much stronger that the other. The attachment to the vent is not as robust as the Logitech version, but the security of the magnet made it the more attractive version. This product is very versatile in that it will accommodate many different styles of vents. The magnet is very secure, and there is even the "legs" that fold down to keep the phone where you want it. I use a phone with a case, so I simply placed the large plate provided between the case and phone ( this also provided a tighter fit for the case) The only improvement I would suggest is: utilize a more secure attachment to the vest, ( similar to the Logitech version).

Bought this for the wife as she travels for work, magnet works well and keeps the phone in place. Only con is that the vent clip could be tighter as sometimes the clip slips and whole assembly slips off the vent louvers.

I love the ease of use. It connects to vent easily. The metal plate attached easily to the back of my phone, and it is super convenient to be able to just grab it and go instead of pushing a button to release the grasp of other styles. I drove 2000+ miles over a 4 day period with it and it was secure and didn't fall off once. I have a Samsung Galaxy S7. It came with two sizes of metal plates designed to slip inside the back of your phone's back cover, and two sizes of metal plates with 3M adhesive to affix to the outside of your phone's back cover, under any phone case you use. The plate with adhesive would essentially be a permanent feature of the phone (which I understood before I purchased it.) What I wasn't thinking of was this: my phone's back cover does not come off, so I could only use the plates with the adhesive. A week after I bought this (and had installed one adhesive plate to my phone), I had to turn my phone in for a warranty issue. My new phone (exact model), of course, needed a metal plate so I then had to attach the 2nd (and last) 3M metal plate to this new phone. If and when I upgrade my phone, I now have no more plates to use with the adhesive. While I don't expect to have been given an unlimited supply of the 3M plates, it would have been nice if there were instructions included about how to get more if needed. Or I could have thought of these potential issues before purchasing. :) Also, the instructions were EXTREMELY simple. I mean, I'm not sure there were any words on them. I have thrown them out, but I remember struggling over deciphering the images. Maybe it was just me. Overall, I love this product! It works extremely well for me. Looking forward to other phones I could use with this holder, it's going to require me to figure out how to make it work.

SO STOKED ON THIS MOUNT. I really wanted to get something that wasn't bulky but also allowed me to run the nav on my phone while still in a safe view. This mount came with a little magnet I easily slip into the back of my phone case which I can simply place against the mount and pull off without any struggle. I have a Galaxy S5 so being able to have it set with the magnet rather than buying some ugly bulky metal case was the absolute coolest thing ever. Probably the best accessory I've purchased for my car and phone since an auxiliary cord.

I went through a couple iterations of vent slips for my car and this one, by far is the best. It is easy to install and I like how secure the magnet is, yet I am able to easily pull my phone off of it. One of the benefits this mount has over all the other mounts is how easily the phone can be a adjust and the range of possible adjustments. I also tried suction mounts but alas, they kept loosing their "stickiness". I've been using this for weeks now without any problems.

Love having this in my car so I can see my phone without having to look down at my hands. Perfect for using the navigation feature. Sets up easily and feels sturdy

I purchased this item to replace a mount that connected to a DC port. By comparison, this mount is much stabler. Also, because it mounts to the vent, it's at a higher, more convenient level. It does not obstruct airflow too badly, and the magnetic mechanism makes it very quick to mount and dismount the phone. The magnet is strong enough to maintain its hold on bumpy roads with no issue. Overall, I am very pleased with this product.
