This is the only CD slot phone holder that fits my 2010 Lexus IS250, because the shifter knob is very close to the CD player. I mounted it to the far left in the CD slot and the shifter doesn’t hit my phone at all. Looks good and is low profile from the dash, so it looks sleek compared to some that stick out farther from the dash. It’s all plastic, I wouldn’t tighten the knob for the rotating joint too much because it does feel like it could break with excessive force. Hopefully it lasts a long time. There are soft pads that stick on the grips going into the CD slot and give the device a nice hold. Doesn’t feel like it will slip out while using it. It’s secured by pressing the two sides in and after its placed in the slot you release the sides and it automatically tightens into place. The only downside is you can’t opporate this with one hand. It’s arms that hold the phone have springs that force them together (which holds the phone nicely) but this setup means one hand has to pull the hands apart while setting the phone into place with the other hand. Minor issue, but if you’d prefer a holder that you close with one hand and release with a button press then this may not work for you. Like I said, this is the only one that fits in my car, so it’s worth a tiny inconvenience. I’ll update if anything changes, but so far it’s working as I wanted.

Very simple to set up, works as indicated. Pivots well and hasn’t come loose. Holds iPhone XR just fine.

I really like this cuz it holds my device securely without any adhesive materials. The ball joint lets me choose angles effectively and the charge port is accessible without any issues. I also really like that it doesn’t block any of my views while driving. I use the Cd slot option, but I like that I could switch to using a vent if I wanted to. I don’t have to use the actual cd slot as my car has an extra slot to use.

I'm not a fan of cell holder that goes in the air vents. The clamps hold the cell phone great, but being in the vents, my air vents, it doesnt hold up well.

Since my girlfriend "borrowed" my cell phone holder out of my car, I had to get this thing and I'm kinda glad she "borrowed" it. It fits my Pixel with an Otterbox case, which is cool. It also (unlike my old one) has not fallen out a single time. It's easy to install and get set up, and I can rotate it sideways (again, unlike my old one). One caveat is I do use the CD player mounting portion and not the vent one since my car actually has a CD player. No idea how it would do in a vent.

I bought this phone bracket so that I can use my phone’s GPS while I drive, without having to hold the phone. The bracket can connect to an air vent or to the CD slot. I attach mine to the air vent. My air vents are rectangular and the bracket connects securely. It is easy to open the bracket, slide the phone into it, and then tighten the bracket. It holds my iPhone securely!

I really enjoy this I can do my GPS it does not block air vents and still allows me to play CDs... It is secure can be used with one hand great deal only thing is you do have to put it togeth but once together won't fall apart easy although not impossible to use as vent mount either if u use attachment

I just wanted an inexpensive, easy to install vent mount for my cell phone and this fits the bill. Very easy to install-it took me longer to get the packaging off than it did to install! It holds the phone securely, but it does bounce a little at freeway speeds or on rougher roads. I can even take it off and throw it in the glove box, then slip it right back on. Makes it less of a temptation for theft if I don't lock my car.

For whatever reason, it finally occurred to me to buy a car mount for my iphone. No more picking it up, not being able to do anything with it while driving-like look for a Starbucks or play a different podcast. Now I have it securely fitted on my a/c vent looking at me. Thus far it has helped me just by being in a gripped module in front-or slightly to my right-where I can visually glance while not taking my eyes off the road. I chose this model specifically because I am one of those people who don't like anything mounted on the windshield or the dash-that obscures my road view. It also can be mounted in your cd slot.

I use the mount for a 5 inch TomTom Gps and it works well. I had another mount that would just fall off the air vents right away but this one grips the air vents and gps especially well. It would be nice if it didn't stick out so far but this does give the option of adjusting the viewing angle.

I finally found something that works. Fits perfectly in the cd holder. Holds my iPhone and stays put! Easy to use and easy to take the phone in and out of.

It fits well. Holds the phone quite well and is easy to adjust. Worth the money.

So I got a new iPhone and specifically got a clear case to let the color of the phone come through. I had a previous car holder that had a magnetic that went on the back of the phone, so didn't want to use that. So got a mount that didn't require sticking anything on the phone. This one works pretty well. It holds the phone securely for sure. The vent mount can be a bit tricking to get locked onto the vent and does require 2 hands to get phone in/out of the mount. This was a bit of a trade-off compared to previous mount.

Easy to use easy to set up and works great and the price is pretty good for a Phone holder.

this is for the CD slot in your car. it fits fantastically. the holder slots in to the CD player very nicely and stays in perfectly. the holder aspect itself is great as well, as it has a rubber aspect that keeps the phone in place.

I hated my vent holder because of heat blowing on my phone during winter. I stumbled on this CD holder somehow and I'm glad i did because i love it!!! It keeps my phone within arms reach at the perfect height. LOVE the fact that I can use my CD slot rather than the vent.

This mount seems to work well and has a lower stabilizer leg for the air vent mounting option, which is helpful. It's pretty well made. My vents are angled a little toward the front of the car which makes the top clips not seat all the way in, but it is still pretty stable. I have not tried the CD slot mount option yet.

I am using the CD slot instead of the vent mount for this phone holder. It is easy to install and easy to use. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because when my phone is in the holder, it sometimes slopes down due to the weight of the phone. Otherwise, it is a great phone holder.

This is a really good phone mount for the price. I've only used the CD mount so far and it works. My only complaint is that it's a little tough to get the phone into the mount, and it slides around slightly when you're putting the phone in. Other than that it's great!

The Brackerton slot/vent mount was easy to install and secures my i-phone well. It is easy to slide my phone into the mount and release it. Great price, great product!
