I bought this mount to hold and charge my work phone, however, the magnets are weak, and the charge is slow. Seriously considering returning the item.

Thank you for your review. This mount does feature fast charging, what kind of phone case are you using? Depending on the thickness of the case,it might be interfering with the charge because the mount can't find the sweet spot on your phone. Please feel free to contact [email protected], one of our representatives would be happy to help you. Thanks, Bracketron Support

This is great to mount your phone is easy view while driving. I even have an otter case on my phone and the magnets work with that still on the phone. The car charger keeps up with any usage (GPS/Waze ) that the phone is utilizing and still charges it during the drive.

Would not work through the case with the thickness of the magnets. Could get it to work without them though, intermittently. Would be fine without a case ,just won't work for me.

Product may work better for larger phones, but metal mounting for Pixel 3 is too narrow, therefore magnetic attachment does not work well. My phone shifts during not so bumpy rides. I've had to replace the rubber backing with stickier pad in order to help secure the phone further. Searching for alternative solution.

I bought this for a wireless charging option while on the go. However the magnetic strips were way too big for me, so I opted out and returned it. Looking for a better design.

I returned this within a week. 1. It requires you to stick an extra magnet on the back of your phone - not comfy or aesthetically pleasing. 2. When I used the air vent attachment, the heat from the vent un-stuck the magnets from the back of my phone and it fell under my feet while I was driving. This damaged my phone and could have EASILY fallen under the gas or brake pedals. I wish I were exaggerating when I say this product is dangerous and should be removed from shelves immediately.

Hi Steve, Kaleb here with Bracketron. I'm sorry to hear that you had some trouble with the mount. This mount is intended to be able to charge through your phone case, however, Otter Box's are rather large so it may not be able to. We do offer a wide array of other products such as vent mounts and CD slot mounts, please reach out to us at [email protected] and we'd be happy to help you find the mount that suits you best! Thanks, Bracketron Support

Charging works great. Holds good. The metal bars fall off after a bit...needed to use some crazy glue to keep them on. It will slip off the vent if not properly attached.

This is an interesting product in theory, but in practice it's pretty mediocre. You have to attach a cylinder to your phone so that it magnetizes to the dock.

First of all, the magnets were fused to the paper they come on. I had to remove the glue and buy separate glue to affix them to my phone case.
Second, the wireless charging capability is inferior. I’m lucky if my IPhone 10xs max starts to charge, however it charges just fine on my home wireless charger with magnets attached.
This product is little more than a magnetic mount for your car. If you have iPhone beware.

Unfortunately this would not hold my iPhone XS while driving. Anytime I hit a bump the phone would drop off, slide down, or rotate its orientation. Because more of a nuisance than an asset. Might work better with a lighter, smaller phone.

I use the vent mount and can’t get it tight enough to hold the phone steady. Taking turns will cause the phone to wobble back and forth.

The magnets in the box were not strong enough to hold phone and charge at the same time. Either the template that comes with the magnets and charger is wrong or the metal is not designed correctly to allow for charging and holding the phone.
I tried to move the magnets so they would hold the phone properly but then the charger would not work because the magnets were blocking that part of the phone. Waste of money.

There are two sticky strips that are to stay on the base holder and are to hold the phone to the holder. The strips don't hold; they come off of the holder and may stick to the phone, but for sure they don't stay where they should and thus the whole contraption fails. (This is with the phone case off, after first failing with the phone case on.) Don't waste your money. Buy a charger/holder that holds mechanically.
