I was waiting to use this product for a month for a fair evaluation of its use. I had been researching various types of A/C vent holders that would fit my large/heavy iPhone 8 Plus with an Otter case and took a chance on this model after reading some reviews. So far, the Bracketron has worked out wonderfully! The side arms extend just enough to fit my phone w/case and the bottom support arms keep it from sliding down under its weight. I was concerned about it fitting in the horizontal A/C vents in my car (Mercedes SUV) but this has not been a problem, as the lower back arm/brace prevents the louvers from falling down under my phone's weight (also tried it in an Audi Q5 without a problem). I am in and out of my car (so removing/replacing my phone) at least 8 times/day and the holder has not come loose since I first mounted it on the vent and does not jiggle while driving. Can't yet vouch for product longevity after months in the summer heat, but hoping for the best. Also, can't comment on the release button for the side arms, since my phone fits at the full width. I'm super happy with my decision on this one!

This mobile phone holder is great and sturdy. I love the way it made to keep phone in place.

Love this holder. Bought it for my husband as a companion gift with his new J3 Samsung smart phone. Who needs Garmin when we have this awesome smartphone and holder. no more rerouting due to outdated road information. Using the smart phone maps app and having the phone placed in the holder makes it completely worthwhile. easy to see the phone for directions, using hands free capability. Excellent purchases all around.

This holder stays in place. I have tested other holder that could not hold the weight of my phone.

I got this phone holder so that I could use my smart phone while driving to give me directions. I've used it several times and am completely satisfied with it. Now I am teaching all online classes because of COVID-19, so I am using this cell phone holder to hang a cell phone over my desk, facing down so that the camera can show a page I am writing on. This enabled me to use my cell phone like an Elmo projector for my online classes. All it took was some thin wire and a wooden dowel to hold it in position.

I would have given it 5 stars but a little struggle in placing it in vent but fits well.

This phone holder perfectly in the car. I like the way the phone fits and doesn’t fall out.

So far this seems like a great holder. The little leg helps with supporting a larger phone. The plastic seems a little cheap/brittle, but if it does it’s job for a few years, then the way it feels doesn’t matter. I would recommend this, it looks like it should fit any vent on any car brand, as long as they are horizontal slats.

The car holder meets the needs, Over some time with iPhone Plus it sags a little otherwise it works fine.

This item is a must to be hands free and great for directions if you do not have a built in monitor in your vehicle! I love this item and it’s great for on the go and travel!

Poorly constructed. Parts for the grip and to hold the device upright fell apart within six weeks of purchase. I will never purchase this product gain.

The both brackets were broken after a few months later, and it becomes useless item that I paid more than 20$

Previously purchased for my car and bought this as a Christmas gift for my wife. Installation is easy, but not intuitive. Also, their is an adjustable ring on the unit to ensure the phone stays in place. Nice, but again, not intuitive. Also, think awhile about where you want to have the phone. I've moved mine several times as: #1 the phone was too high and was a distraction; #2 Make sure you can still reach/adjust the radio and other controls. Also, be careful which setting is used to push air into the cabin of your vehicle. The phone can become very, very warm when you are blowing hot air in the winter!

The ability to mount on an A/C vent was needed due to my windshield and dashboard. Mounting is simple, however the vent needs to be in just the right position in order for the item to fit. The adjustable feature fits my phone and releases it easily. Since my phone is mounted on a vent when the a/c or heat is on it does affect the temperature of phone, so keep that in mind when running the heat and charging your phone.

This mount has a secure grip on both my phone and car vent. It will adjust to fit any smartphone and the only problem I have with it is how well it holds your phone. It's a little difficult to take the phone out of the mount without reaching around to the back and hitting the adjustment button. This also means you don't have to worry about your phone going flying, so it's a fair trade off.

This little guy works perfectly. At first I was a little skeptical that the way it attaches to my car air vent would either not be effective or would ruin my air vent. I am happy to be wrong on both accounts. It perfectly holds the phone and is easy to release with the green button. I also like that I can turn it to be vertical or horizontal. The price point to is excellent. I was veering towards the more expensive one, but I asked an employee and he said there were not alot of returns of this car phone mount.

After trying multiple holders I got this one. Didn't like that it attached to my vent, but it has a brace to keep it from damaging the vent. It's also got a quick adjust button that makes it easy to fit most phones and putting them in and out is a breeze. Only issue is that it's come off a couple of times while in use.
