Hinge on the freezer door made it so every time we opened the door it almost fell off the hinge. The fan is really loud. A lot of condensation is also I. The fridge. The managers IN THE STORE are great!!! They helped my problems

DO NOT BUY. Does not keep items in freezer frozen.

After 1 month of use, I noticed items in the freezer had frost on them and food was not frozen. Check the temp setting, and it was reading 15-19 degrees F for the freezer. Would unplug the fridge to let it recycle, and it would be fine for a month or 2 then have the same issues. We’ve had this fridge/freezer for about 16 months, and this has happened too many times. We’ve thrown away a lot of food because of this. Sure it looks nice on the outside, but it’s faulty on the inside. And storage is horrible. We’re a family of 6, and we have to use our old white Kenmore fridge in the garage for a lot of items we cannot fit in this GE. Save yourself the headaches and do not buy this overpriced piece of junk.

The ice maker being in the door is convenient. It has lots of room for food. The hot water dispenser takes awhile for the water to heat.

It is absolutely stunning with some cool modern features, which we desired for our home. We purchased the whole sweet… All four pieces and we are quite pleased.

Recently found out that the fridge was supposed to come with a bypass plug, which i did not receive. Now after a little over a year, the ice dispenser will not dispense ice, even after replacing the filter. Now i am stuck with a $3500 half functioning refrigerator. Definitely won't purchase another one.

If the plastic bypass plug was not supplied with the refrigerator, one can be ordered at no charge by calling 1-800-GECARES. We recommend making sure that you are replacing the filter with a RPWFE filter, and if the problem persists, we recommend scheduling service with a certified GE Appliances technician that will be able to accurately diagnose and repair your appliance.
