Before I review this stove, I want to thank Best Buy for taking such great care of us. We needed to purchase several appliances for our new home and since this was an investment, we wanted to go with a retailer that would take care of us should any problems arise. I went to other web sites and carefully read the reviews and saw many people complaining how they were ignored after their appliances were delivered when they ran into a problem. Then I came across a couple reviews by others that said Best Buy took great care of them and so we went with Best Buy. We did run into some problems, and Best Buy did fully take care of us. If you're looking to purchased appliances I 100% recommend Best Buy. Now with that said, let's go over the stove. It's a beautiful stove, attractive in your kitchen, it's stylish and classy, and it fit perfectly. The first issue we had was regarding the panel. Not only was the panel super sensitive to touch, also whenever we touched the digital panel a faint high pitched noise would come out. The second issue we had was the clock was not keeping time. Every day we would loose 2-3 minutes and by the end of the week it would be almost 20 minutes off. The third issue was regarding the racks in the oven. The one that slides out, would not properly close. We contacted Best Buy and they had someone come out immediately to check the stove. They then scheduled to have a replacement sent out. When we received the replacement, everything seemed to work fine and we were happy. The high pitched noise was gone, and the rack closed properly. The clock however, was again losing time. Another technician came out and this time they worked with GE to troubleshoot the problem. A couple days later we received a package with a device to fix the software in the stove. We downloaded the patch and the clock works perfect now. So if you have any issues with the clock not keeping time, contact Best Buy and have them contact GE and to have a patch sent to you. I ran into a problem with the sliding rack again. Best Buy had a replacement sent to me, but we're still having trouble. I've just accepted theses racks are not the best and work around it. The other thing I would like to mention is that the oven is inconsistent with temperature. I found this problem out when I was baking and my banana nut breads and other items were not fully cooked inside. I invested in not one, but three oven thermometers to check the oven inside. The first thing I did was turn the oven on and check various temperatures and various modes with all three thermometers. Please note, oven thermometers are not perfect, so I ended up keeping the one that matched my oven temperature the best. I worked with that thermometer going forward. When you preheat the oven, when the chime goes off, do not use it right away as it is still not fully preheated. Use the oven thermometer as your guide to know when it is fully preheated. For example, I went to bake scones the other morning and convection preheated the oven to 400 degrees. The chime went off that it was ready, but when I looked at my thermometer it only noted the oven was at 300 degrees. HUGE difference. I usually have to wait 15-30 minutes more after the chime goes off before the oven is fully preheated. Now with that said, please note that the very expensive ovens like Wolf and Viking, they need about 45 minutes to fully preheat. That's just the way it is. So that's the way I'm taking this oven. It takes a while to preheat, but when properly preheated, it cooks great. A few things what I love about the stove: Beautiful, love the 6 burners, cleans nicely, grates are a perfect balance of texture, love all the burner sizes, LOVE the cooking thermometer in the oven. Once you start using your oven and get used to it's nuances, you will enjoy cooking with it. I cook 98% percent of our meals at home and am pleased with this stove/oven. I still recommend this oven and highly recommend purchasing from Best Buy.

Worked great after 4 servicing.. 1 best buy.. 3 GE! TOTALLY STOPPED working after 3 yrs! Now saving for a newer model with guaranteed service for at least 8yrs. Now without stove/oven in working condition 2yrs! Just sad!
