Purchased this over the range microwave 2 months ago. Overall, we are happy with the appliance. It replaced our 10 year old GE Cafe model. Nice looking and fits in with existing appliances. Spacious interior. Easy to clean. Power levels are good. Not as many cooking options as our older model. Relies more on sensor cooking. Fan is very effective at removing cooking heat and odors. Like the steam cook options on the touch pad. So far so good!

In the middle of renovating my kitchen but this microwave is wonderful! It’s beautiful and works so easily. Would strongly recommend!

This Café Over-the-Range microwave CVM521P2MS1 goes perfect with our convection range CES700P2MS1 with Chef Connect. We used the bump out kit JX15BUMPBB due to deeper cabinets. This positioned the microwave perfectly over the range. This was set up to recirculate the air back into the kitchen. The included charcoal filter removes odors and the vent fan does a great job removing smoke/steam from the cooktop. We were already used dial cooking from using our 15 year old GE Profile microwave this replaced. Chef Connect was easy to set up. Love the microwave vent and light coming on when we turn on a burner.

Great Microwave. Looks great, matches all of our other Cafe Appliances. It has a ton of room inside, easy to use. I enjoy the spinning dial rather than the number keys. The Bluetooth Chef Connect is great however it disconnects randomly, but is great for clock synchronization with Oven which has WIFI. So I never have the time wrong. But overall Fantasitc Microwave, and would buy again.

So far, we think the microwave works as advertised--the correct size, and a nice exterior finish. Our only wishlist item is that they should allow unique time inputs for manual cook time--it only allows time increments in 15 second intervals. Through the years, we've learned that some things only need to be warmed for, say, 20 seconds, but we can't enter that amount so we have to stand by the microwave and stop it from running a full 30 seconds.

Easy to use, not too loud and loaded with features, this microwave exceeds expectations.

we love the new microwave - it looks and works great. Our only very minor "complaint" is that it takes 4 steps to specify a cook time (press time cook, rotate the dial, press the dial, press start). Seems a more streamlined approach is possible...

We use it mainly to re heat food. It works perfectly and is very user friendly. It is also easy to clean. It looks beautiful in the kitchen with our other Cafe stainless steel appliances.

We decided on the Cafe line which we thought were top of the line GE appliances but unfortunately what we got were average appliances with a fancy badge. Nothing really different with this microwave than any other brand. Fairly cheap feeling construction. No rack inside which is disappointing. Not a fan of the knob you use to program time. It is really not intuitive. I would have rather had a number pad. It has the same round turn table they have been doing forever that limits the size of what you are cooking to the depth dimension. I preferred the square turn table on my old Maytag that moved in a square so you could use nearly the full width of the microwave. It has decent power and performs as it should. I do like that it has the Bluetooth connection to the range which turns the light and the exhaust fan on when you turn a burner on. If you want to pay a lot for fancy looking average quality appliances, then the Cafe line is for you!

Bought as a replacement for a 20-year-old GE Advantium microwave/convection oven. This is a great microwave (so far), and Best Buy's installer put it in quickly and cleaned up including removing the old microwave. We never used the convection feature of the old one and we're happy we just got the microwave. Good looking unit and matches our Cafe range.

This microwave is a major step up from our previous one which was only seven years old. Cooks in half the time and easy installation. GE Cafe knocked it out of the park.

Nice unit ,works well , LED light takes getting use to . Attractive looks .

I purchased it along with the range so they would match however we don't love the dial and it's hard to microwave for times that are in-between 30 second intervals.

Love my new microwave. It works very well and has Led lighting. You just have to learn how to program the nightlight and use the turn knob rather than hitting enter/start. Love the Bluetooth connection with the cafe range. My only wish is the lettering On the panel would light up or in a brighter white. Also missing the potato selection. It’s there but you have to look for it by using the dial. Well worth the price.

This microwave is very easy to use and matches the rest of the Cafe line great.

Very nice microwave to replace our older Cafe model that has been discontinued. This one seems more powerful and heats up food faster than the other one we had. This is on the higher price end but we are happy with this purchase.
