The ice maker being in the door is convenient. It has lots of room for food. The hot water dispenser takes awhile for the water to heat.

Very Nice but hot water takes a couple of minutes

Recently found out that the fridge was supposed to come with a bypass plug, which i did not receive. Now after a little over a year, the ice dispenser will not dispense ice, even after replacing the filter. Now i am stuck with a $3500 half functioning refrigerator. Definitely won't purchase another one.

If the plastic bypass plug was not supplied with the refrigerator, one can be ordered at no charge by calling 1-800-GECARES. We recommend making sure that you are replacing the filter with a RPWFE filter, and if the problem persists, we recommend scheduling service with a certified GE Appliances technician that will be able to accurately diagnose and repair your appliance. Great fridge

It is absolutely stunning with some cool modern features, which we desired for our home. We purchased the whole sweet… All four pieces and we are quite pleased.

Now the 2nd refrigerator was delivered and it all looked fine, however after I let it cool down and went to put food in the freezer area, when I opened the freezer door I heard a popping noise and then a large metal rod and spool on each end fell out of the back of the bin area. Oh and the ice maker is not working. I am so irritated as I ordered my refrigerator way back in January and did not get the 1st one until July 30th and then the 2nd one delivered on August 8th and I am still here with a broken refrigerator. What a cheaply made product, GE should be ashamed of the quality of their CAFE line appliances as they are more expensive but in my opinion now that I have the Stove, Dishwasher and Refrigerator I wish I had stayed with Bosch or Samsung.....cheap quality appliances is what they are.

Blue film for transport makes it look bad

Big issue with the amount of blue film that is practically impossible to peel off on almost all of the panels. Cafe microwave, range, and dishwasher didn’t have the same issue. Otherwise happy with size and operation, but I would not recommend.
