The heating pad is great. It doesn’t massage like I thought. It only vibrates.

The size of the heating pad is large enough to cover most or all of the back. Works okay on the neck but you have to hold it in place. The material covering is nice and soft. The pad is heavy enough not to shift when lying down and the heating pad is on your back. The length of the cord is 9 feet but the length from the controller to the plug is 7 feet so it may limit where you can use it. The length from the pad to controller is 18 inches, long enough for easy reach. The cable that plugs into the heating pad is a little bulky and sits at the top corner. This is awkward as it will be sitting directly on your right shoulder. Heat: 3 levels available. Heats up quickly and provides adequate heat with even distribution, suitable to use sitting or lying down. 2-hour auto shutoff timer available for heat function. Don’t get too comfy and fall asleep while using this though. Massage: It has 2 small cylinders (like a C battery) centered at the top and bottom 3rd of the pad. 3 levels of vibration, gets loud at the medium and high settings. You get a light sensation of waves going up and down but primarily the massaging effect is at the cylinders. It needs pressure for the best effect of the massage, like sitting back on the pad in a chair or lying on your stomach with a pillow on top of the heating pad. Most useful using lengthwise along back, otherwise the massage effect would awkwardly be at your sides. 15-min timer available for massage function Calming Heat is a nice massage heat pad to own and I would appreciate it as a gift. It seems most useful as a heating pad. I would consider the massage function as an added bonus.

It is not as large as it looked outside of the container but does heat and message extremely well I give this product a 5 stars rate out of a 5 stars with 5 as the highest! need a bigger type for us big for us extra big folks please.

Heated blanket was perfect for my girlfriend. I keep my house 60 degrees so the freeze babies will take full advantage of the heated blanket.

Comes in handy, helping me recover from pain I feel in my shoulders from work.

Works great as a heating pad but the massage feature fair. I tend to like more of a deep tissue massage and it was hard to get pressure. Good for a light massage.

My husband loved this Christmas present for his aching joints and back. However, he has only used it a month and it has quit working. We will be going back to the store to return it.
