My first full-frontal DSLR. I'm a videographer and I started using the 6D for freelancing. It looks amazing and gets the job done. However, do your research if it's the right camera for you, it doesn't have anti-aliasing, if that's a requirement for you

I have owned many cameras most of them Canon and i have to say this camera is a beast! Love the clarity and the full frame i have owned one since it came out and just recently purchases another one. I now shoot with two by my side. highly recommend it!

I went from a Canon T3i, to the 6D. I almost went with the mark iii, but decided to save myself the $1,000 and lose just a couple of extra features. And I’d do it over again if I had the chance!

This is an amazing camera for the price! Im so glad Canon made a full frame sensor camera that is affordable. Love the Wifi and GPS!

If you compare this to a 5D mkII, it is an improvement on every level. If you compare it to a 5D mkIII than you will obviously have a lot to complain about. Ultimately, I think it is an amazing camera. If you take into account that wifi and gps for a 5Diii costs you another $700 then you will realize that it is super handy. Shooting weddings I can upload photos to my phone, or email them directly to clients as they leave the venue. The quality and high ISO is extremely good. The build, although partially plastic does not feel anything like a xxD series or the rebel series. The magnesium skeleton gives it the weight and sturdiness, and the plastic keep it light (and allows for gps/wifi). The only downside I can think of is there is only 1 card slot. I don't really care as I only shoot stills and I have never once before wished for two, but I imagine for video two would be beneficial. I shot weddings with a 5Dii, and this is an improvement. I don't think it would be necessary to get a 5Diii over this. Maybe if your a gear head and have tons of money to spend, but you truly don't get that much more.

I had a rebel which got me through photography school!!! The 6d was my jump into the professional world!!! It was what I could afford! But what gave the most bank for my buck!

I purchased this camera to get Ito the full-frame game. I never understood the hype until now. I already had canon lenses and didn't want to spend 5D money at the time.

this is my second Canon 6D. I purchased this so I would have a backup camera while out on photo sessions with clients.
