Great Full Sensor Camera at low light
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Going to Full Frame Camera is not easy choice if you are comparing between Canon and Nikon, i have t2i so canon for me, Got this from BB, i was thinking of 5DM2, there were not not any reviews of 6d out there when i got it, so obviously a bit concerned, 60 day return policy from bestbuy for premier silver member was very helpful deciding for this camera. No flash was a concern for me but let me tell you this camera is stunning in low light so having wifi and GPS is good compromise instead of flash, i already have a flash so it was not big concern for me. i have 50 mm F1.4 lens which is very good but this camera i took some very good picture with that lenss. Even in very low light and if picture saved in RAW mode it is very easily fixable in APERTURE or Iphoto software in Mac. Camera Size is very good to carry around and not very heavy. I chose to get the body only since i already have 50 mm F 1.4 Iens and want to use money to get 70-200 F4 IS L lens which i did. If you are in canon system this camera is very good for price. My only complain is one cross hair focal point, it is not an issue for me as i usually use one center focus point but many reviewers say it is not good enough, I think Canon do not want to give more focus point in this camera to protect the 5dM3 which is $1200 more and that is the main difference between 6d and 5DM3. I chose to save money for L Lens. Going full Frame is way to go, i should have done it earlier. This is expensive hobby. Best Buy price matching policy was one of the main reason i bought this from Best Buy, The thing i like about is no hassle, you bring the add in your smart phone (love Red Laser app on Iphone) they will price match it so simple. they matched Amazon price with no problem.

Great Value-Priced FF Camera
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used Canon APS-C cameras for quite some time and have a considerable amount of money invested in Canon "L" lenses so sticking with Canon was a no brainer. However, I wanted a full frame sensor camera for the improved image quality. After much research I decided to go with Canon's 6D rather than the more expensive 5D Mark III. I use the 6D when shooting portraits, landscapes and other stationary subjects. Great image quality! Also the 6D is especially good for low light photography. I also have the Canon 80D which I use when shooting sports, action and wildlife. If you have used Canon's Rebel or XXD series cameras you will have no problem using the 6D. The 6D does have a very basic 11 point focus system so I typically just use the center point and recompose. The 6D feels very comfortable in hand and is fairly light so I can walk around all day with the camera with no problems. I would definitely recommend the 6D for those looking for a reasonably priced full frame DSLR camera.

Excellent full frame camera for the money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really love the ergonomics of the body and the light weight as compared to my 5 d mark 2. The camera took the beating when i took it to a shoot. The processor is quick and responds well to the need. Ignore the side-by-side comparison with the Nikon d600. They are both excellent cameras. The majority of the pix i take are portrait and i feel that this is a lot of camera for the money and what i use it for. A great value and you will enjoy shooting with it. Get out and buy them at best buy already. Spring is right around the corner for you to start shooting.

Great for new photogs or back-up body
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the feel in hand a lighter weight. Make sure to pick up the battery grip to accompany this guy. I operate with two 5d mark 3's and thought I would pick this guy up to test out. Not regretting this purchase at all.

AWESOME CAMERA
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I BOUGHT THIS CAMERA 3 YEARS AGO - ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT - SUPER SHARP AND GREAT IN LOW LIGHT - FABULOUS FOR INDOOR EVENTS - SPORTS - PARTICULARLY WEDDINGS IF FLASH IS NOT ALLOWED. LANDSCAPES ARE CRISP - SUPER SHARP. I USE IT FOR EVERYTHING EXCEPT AIR SHOWS WHERE I NEED MY 60D WITH THE HIGH BURST RATE AND EXTREME TELEPHOTO. A GREAT FULL FRAME CAMERA - GLAD I BOUGHT IT.

Stunning Sharpness!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used a crop sensor for years and finally decided to see what the fuss was about with a full frame. I am sooooo glad I did it's absolutely stunning. I can crank up that ISO in a low lighting environment without that high noise as on a crop sensor. I have checked into the 5D Mark iii too and as far as the shutter they are so so identical it's worth saving the $$$. to view work using the 6D visit my web www.facebook.com/kristennicholephotography

Excellent Full Frame Camera at a Great Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would highly recommend the 6D.. It's low light performance is unmatched but you definitely don't want to cheap out on cheaper glass.. I rented this a few weeks ago, a Canon 6D with a 24-70 f/2.8 from a place in New York.. The performance of the lens and how sharp at even 10,000 ISO was incredible. Now I'm saving up for a 24-70 f2.8 from Best Buy!

Anyone know this is NOT an upgrade to the 5D?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 5D line is of a higher quality, the newest one being the 5D mark 3. Basically the higher the model #, the lower the quality. The 1D is TOL and the 70D lowest. The rebels are the am line. This new offering (6D) is the full frame sensor "bridge" between two price points and appears attractive.
