If you are looking for a good camera for still work and very good video with the ability to change lens, then this is the camera for you. Being able to use the LED screen at various angles, including facing forward for self portraits, pointed down for overhead shots and directly from the back, this camera makes it easy to frame up the image you want. And with the autofocus function, you can follow fast action or tag the object you want and be sure it is in focus.

The favorite thing about this DSLR is the touch screen. It works best on video mode and you are able to touch screen to focus on your subject. Also the flip LCD is a great function.

The camera takes great pictures. The only downside is when recording, although it focuses well on objects close-up, objects in the background sometimes appear blurry.

I am not a professional videographer, but I do like to make home made movies. This is the first camera to have great auto-focus software that you can actually use for videos. It doesn't have to "hunt" for the right focus. If you like making videos and want something with a great auto-focus feature, this is your camera.

This camera is so easy to use. It is our first DSLR and has great picture quality. The battery lasted all day while at the zoo, with over 700 photos taken and still plenty of life to spare!

    So Disappointed!

I've never owned anything but Canon Digital SLRs but this 70D with the 18-135mm, right out of the box, was clearly defective. Focus was soft in all modes, even with an 18-55MM from my old Canon Rebel. I tried the 18-135mm that came with the 70D on my Rebel and the focus was spot on. I see that others have had good reviews about this camera but I cannot follow suit. I'm really surprised by this defect and trusted Canon but this one is going back tomorrow.

Caution, my Canon 70d died I was at my desk and put the memory card back into my camera, got a code 20 error, then my camera went completely dead. I didn't drop the camera. The battery is fully charged. Google "Canon 70D died" and you will see that many have this problem. So I just want to caution others before they buy and expensive paperweight.
