So far, used the camera for a wedding and sporting events. Used my old Sigma 18-50 2.8 lens and adaptor at the wedding which worked flawlessly. Also tried the native EF-M 22mm native lens, but found it too limiting. Used the Native 18-150 at a football and basketball game. Was not disappointed. Long distance and even close ups were tack sharp. Even did face recognition at its full length. Video was steady at long distance. Players being caught in mid air and balls going through the net speak to its 14fps ability. Lighting was much better than expected. Love the size and weight. I highly recommend this system. Was torn between this and waiting for the Sony a6600 to show up, but liked the price, weight, availability and ability to use my current hardware. Only disappointment was the inability to use my very old 50mm prime which it refused to recognise.

I've spent many years as a professional photographer but after my last trip to Easter Island where I dragged all my equipment and nearly broke my back I decided I needed an easier way to do photography. I'm convinced the future is mirrorless and in a few years the market will have a higher percentage of mirrorless than DSLRs. I preordered the M6 + 18-55mm lens kit and it came right on release day. On my last trips to Italy and Belgium I decided to leave my Canon EOS 5D Mark III at home and take the M6 to really put it to the test. I was immediately pleased by the lightness of the camera and its EF-M 18-159mm lens. I could fit it in the pocket of my jacket. The surprise came when I took night photos with a tripod, there was no perceptible noise, way better than I expected, I wouldn't say this is the best lens for this camera, it is quite slow after all (in terms of f/stop), but it's a great all around lens for most situation with sufficient light. I also bought an adapter so I can use my large collection of Canon lenses. The video is excellent too (I've been shooting in 4K). Canon has announced a future firmware for enabling 24p.
I think this is a great first mirrorless and I can see myself moving to a full frame mirrorless and leaving my DSLRs behind in a near future. It was worth the wait. I've included 6 images taken with this camera.

When l tried to look for a camera to replace my old one l checked out several different brands. I was impressed buy how easy it is to use.
It takes great photos under very difficult lighting conditions. It is much smaller than standard slrs and yet the quality of the shots are impressive. I love this camera.

This is my sons camera, he says it’s really awesome. I’ve seen pictures he takes with it and they are substantially better than his old cannon rebel t6i. Great video too.

I can't say enough good things about the m6 mark II. It's a great slightly above entry level mirrorless camera. The 18-150mm kit lens is sufficient enough for starters and with the EF-M/EF adapter you're able to use a lot of the older glass.

There is nothing much to complain about. It would have been super cool if it had an integrated view finder.
