Turns on and off by itself. All the time. Now Canon has to replace it….

I’ve had 5 printers (epson,canon,hp) during the last 4 years because all of them clogged up which is why I decided to invest in a laser printer. Before buying this, I bought an HP ink tank printer which clogged up (was not printing) after 10days of regular use. This canon laser printer is the easiest printer setup I have experienced. Set up of this canon laser printer literally took me 3 minutes via wifi compared to my old epson printers which usually takes me 10mins via usb, and hp which took an hour via wifi. I have lost power at home several times this year and once the power came back, it automatically connected to the wifi without any problem. Pros: easy installation. I had no problems with paper jams. Printing was fast and quality was very good. Does not lose connection to the wifi. Compact size and it was as big as my old all in one printer. Super easy to print from my Apple and android devices. Cons: No scanner. Printer is heavy and was a little difficult to carry from my car into the house.

I have owned or used at least 10 printers since 1986. This is one of the best. It is basic and prints! Granted, It is not a scanner nor does it have a host of features you will find in the multi-function machines. But for home use it does exactly what I need with the added expense of a MFP. Also, after years of dealing with ink jets, I am looking forward to getting back to toner. BTW Suppliesoutlet.com has great prices on the cartridges. 100% satisfied!

This laser printer was easy to set up. It prints good images. A little noisy when working.

I love this printer. It prints beautifully, and the toner lasts so long! We use it constantly, it is amazing.

It’s a nice printer. Prints well. I’ve had a challenge with the wireless printing. It could be my other hardware but it works when I use the USB connection. Also a little noisy. I would overall recommend it for the money. But it’s not perfect.

I had a hand-down HP with a bunch of generic cartridges that ground to a halt, so I had to search for a replacement. Oh My! I really did myself an enormous favor by searching & comparing! This is the, THE color laser printer that I have been waiting for!! Come on guys & gals, THIS is big, this is HUGE!!! It is a color laser printer and it prints photo quality prints at 1200 x 1200 !!! Goodby to inkjet and your dried up cartridges after a couple of weeks!! And do not worry about getting special photo paper, ordinary but good quality paper and you have brilliant photos. Seriously! Set up takes a bit of time, but you will get through it: I'm using a USB to my old desktop and for my laptop I'm using wifi connections. Just had to search around on the printer for the net address for the printer. The other small hassle is to get the setup on the desktop going before the printer fell into sleep mode - a little too fast for me as it was not quite handy to plug in the USB at the back of the printer in time!

If you print a lot or multiple pages at a time this printer is awesome, the set up was incredibly easy and was up and printing from wifi just 10 minutes after unboxing.

Printer is exactly what I expected. Good quality for the price. Setup however was much more challenging than it should be on the tiny display. But overall happy with it.

Works well. A bit loud. Set up was a bit confusing. So far no problems but looks like toner is going to be pricy.

Its very slow. Very very slow. Inkjet is much better then this one

I could not get the printer to connect to my wi-do. The printer constantly said my wi-fi password was invalid. I returned the printer and purchased a HP printer. No problems with HP. I think the printer was just a bad one, because the reviews from others did not mention wi-fi connection problems.

Reading on the canton if you want to scan & copies this printer doesn't do that.
