We've been happy with this camera a small point and shoot to bring when space is limited. The pictures are very sharp so far. It takes excellent sunset photos. I haven't taken indoor shots yet but night scenes are good. My one complaint is it seems a few times the power button doesn't work for me and I hope it's not an issue down the road.

Great pocket cam that shoots RAW, has pretty nice lens, great low light capability, and shoots great video. The wifi implementation on the S120 is pretty decent. Haven't had any connection problems as yet with iPhone but one bump trying to connect to Win 8.1. Nice addition to DSLR.

This camera is my second compact camera. I purchased it two days before my vacation so I did not have much time to play around with it. As I was experimenting with it during my vacation, i noticed all the different functions that the camera could do. It's overwhelming for someone who just wants to take picture with one setting. Of course the camera has an auto setting but I wanted to learn the other functions of the camera because I paid quite a lot for it. As I experimented, I started learning how to take photos better or more clearly with different settings. This is a really great camera for its price and it's such a good travel size. I think the complexity of this camera is best fit for someone who is capable of learning the functions that it has to offer. It also has wifi connectivity and it took me a while to get connected but I eventually was able to do it. However, wifi connectivity is really slow since I was uploading 1000photos and videos to my pc. It is best to transfer photos with a cable.

I bought this as an everyday carry around camera and I am very happy with it. Very good in low light, easy to use, and excellent photos. Easy to fit in my pocket with plenty of controls if I want. Much better that my phone's camera. Nice video too.

I've only had the camera a few weeks now but "so far, so good!" Really fast shutter speed for tracking my 3 year old and it seems to take better pictures in low-light than my old Cannon Elph 310. The short videos I've taken have turned out well too. I haven't used the WiFi for uploading purposes yet but I am looking forward to using that capability. The camera is a little bit heavier than my old camera but it still fits in my camera case and in my pocket so no complaints there. Great little camera overall, you will be happy!

I am an enthusiast and the Canon S120 is simply not quite as good as I expected. Handles well, buttons are instinctive and easy to use and the camera is not too small in my opinion to handle. Indeed it fits nicely into any pocket. I really like the feel of this camera but here’s the thing. The pictures are simply not as good as I expected and further I would add the results are inconsistent. There seems to be a lot of interpretation on the camera’s part regarding color and exposure. Maybe this is a the new trend in electronic devices. Televisions are now crazy bright, high contrast and over saturated beyond normal life viewing. There are considerable differences between shooting modes as well, from automatic to program, Tv, etc you get different color results and tones even if settings are similar. Also the camera seems to prioritize adjusting ISO settings first, preferring to offer a high ISO before adjusting shutter speed or aperture. You can lock in ISO however which I am starting to do to control the picture. All of the above said my single biggest problem with the camera is the pictures are not as sharp as I am used to. My old Sony W7 with Carl Zeiss lens and CCD sensor takes crisper and more color accurate photos, it just doesn’t have the range and adjustment capabilities. I find myself taking a Sony shot as a reference and then comparing the Canon, now what’s wrong with that picture! Fun to carry and use but the actual pictures should be better for this class of camera. Would rate 3.5 if this was available In summary: handling and feel : A features and user controls A actual picture quality C+

I owned a canon s100 which was a great camera as well. The s120 is a very nice upgrade in terms of auto focus, wi-fi, the ability to leave the shutter open longer than 15 seconds, a touch screen and a slightly faster lense. All of these features were immediately apparent and useful to me. The beauty of these cameras are how small they are for the photo quality and power. This camera fits in your shirt pocket so your able to take it every where. I used to have a full size slr with lenses, it was not fun to take on an 8 mile hike or canoeing or anywhere. The touch screen allows you to change your focus area by touching the screen, so very easy and fast. The build quality is outstanding. Does everything I need it to do and more. Lots of settings to play with and learn about.

Bought this for travel because I am sick of carrying around my Nikon D5100 SLR. Canon did a great job with this camera. Its super compact, had a decent and quick zoom and take amazing photos. Battery life seems pretty good and it has a wifi option to transfer pictures over the network. This is a great choice for travel as it easily fits in a shirt or pants pocket. The only cons is the low light performance. It is not on top of the charts in that category but you have to spend significantly more to get better quality low light pictures(ie Sony RX series). No regrets with the Canon S120, it is a fantastic camera for the money!

Not only is this a super compact camera, it has so many features that makes it more like a top-end SLR. The quality of the camera is outstanding - battery life, even with flash is more than acceptable. I' m going to be using it mostly as my dive camera and I couldn't be more pleased with the set ups and battery life.

The camera is new and has had very little use so far, but it's a nice size, Has more bells and whisles than I'll probably ever use. Easy to set up and operate. Over-all it seems to be very good.

For a point and shoot camera, the S120 can't be beat. It takes beautiful photos, and is easy to use. There are many features packed into this small camera, some of which I haven't even sampled yet. It is convenient to carry and well made.

Overall a very good camera for someone who wants a few more bells and whistles. Not a mega zoom but very functional (5x optical and up to 20x digital). Colors are very realistic and there isn't a lot of noise until I push the ISO up over 1600. Video quality is good but the HD mode does chew up the battery (I carry a backup battery now). The web based transfer system is OK but does take a while and is even more of a battery hog; but it does work. I use the S120 when I don't want to lug around my SLR.

I HIGHLY RECOMEND THE CAMERA FOR ADVANCED PHOTOGRAPHERS. FOR BEGINERS THERE ARE ENOUGH AUTOMATIC FEATURES, HOWEVER WHY SPEND THE MONEY. FOR HIGHLY SKILLED PHOTOGRAPHERS IT HAS ALL THAT ONE COULD WANT IN A CAMERA!

This camera is a step up from Canon's Elph series, but still small enough to (just barely) qualify as a pocket camera. My only complaint is that it has too many features for a snap-shot taker such as myself. I do love the improved speed over the Elph series.

I bought this to take to friends house or dinners at restaurants/lounges. It's a good camera for that purpose but the quality of images were great, they were good enough to publish on Facebook, iPhoto streams, etc.
