Canon LP-E12 battery

I researched the different batteries available compared to the actual Canon brand. There were some negative reviews for the off brands in comparison to the Canon LP. I made my decision based on those reviews. Time will tell.

Good battery for the Canon M50

One battery is ok for just photos. Switching between photos and videos puts a drain on the battery. Having a backup, I can stay on the action longer. Buying the same name brand means you'll get about the same run time. Good value when needed
