This is a no brainer for someone who doesn't like to carry too much of camera gear. If you take a lot of photos outdoors, in the sun, on trips and hikes and want to carry only one lens then this is it. It has a black vignette at 24mm on raw files but that can be easily corrected in post using the lens profile adjustment. Excellent lens for it's price and functionality.

This is perfect lens for vacation and trips. Amazing focal range. The image quality is lower than the $3000 L series, but this lens is still great. It is light, feels good on the rp and r5. I can take it on hikes and around town to capture wide and zoomed in photos. I own a lot of glass, but if You combine this with the rf85 mm 2.0 it is a great combo with only 2 lens.

Best lens for travelers and versatile usage. I travel a lot and love wildlife and travel photography. This gives me a huge range to shoot and capture best shots. Love the lens and would 100% recommend it. I use it with a Canon R8 . And this works seamlessly

This lens is a great tool for great outdoor pictures. I am a nature lover and I love taking pictures of little tiny creatures and flowers. Love it.

I love this lens so far. Crisp & clear shots at a good distance. Beautiful bokeh. Great option if you aren’t ready to spend 4k on a lens.

For a non-L lens this one really delivers. Great quality at an affordable price. The range allows me to shoot portraits and sports action without changing lenses. It may not be pro quality, but as a walking around lens it offers versatility and convenience.

This is my new canon walk around lens. Good images on my R5. Lightroom does a nice job of compensating distortion. And yes I did buy a aftermarket sun shield.

USM and IS are really helpful upon moving objects.

When I turn on the RP camera it say the lens may not be supported by camera filmware. Not sure if that is applicable, the lens works, mean this doesn't hinder capturing photos. Overall I love the lens!

This is an excellent all around travel lens. Also I am very satisfied with Best Buy who replaced this lens without any issue because of some damage.

Versatile lens that lets you do a bit of everything.

It's a pretty good lens. It's certainly not L series quality but gives good photos. I don't like that you are required to change the focus mode in the menus in order to focus manually.

Awesome quality, great range for a carry around or travel lens. Sharp photos, and the control ring is very helpful for more personalized settings.

Canon’s RF series is a game changer. This is a great all in one lens although it is a bit bulky. Picture quality however is very impressive.
